Grimson Balta (グリムソン・バルタ) is the Jarl of the Balta Seaforce and father of Karja, the Pirate Princess.
Said to be on par with One-Eyed Ladoc, the infamous pirate of the Medo Sea, he possesses the charisma to manage his crew of ruffians and the shrewd political judgment to maneuver around the Romun Empire.
He is also capable of freely controlling the Berserker state, a Norman form of combat that turns heightened emotions into power. This combined with his excellent battle techniques makes him the strongest amongst Mana wielders.

Appearance
Grimson appears as a strong and imposing man with blonde hair and a matching beard, styled in a wild, somewhat unkempt manner. He wears the Balta Seaforce uniform, consisting of a blue tunic with gold trim layered over chainmail. The tunic is cinched at the waist with a wide belt featuring an intricate, circular buckle. Over his shoulders, he sports a red cape with a fur-lined collar. His arms are partially armored, with leather bracers on his wrists. His lower half is protected by striped pants and high boots with additional fur trim, matching his cape. Both of his arms also bear visible green tattoos.
He wields two large axes, each adorned with intricate designs on the blades and a red tassel hanging from the handles.
Personality
Grimson is a carefree yet reliable leader, deeply respected as the Jarl of the Balta Seaforce. While his presence can be imposing, it only highlights his unwavering commitment to protecting his people and defending Obelia Gulf, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their safety.
