Yesss is a major character of Ralph Breaks the Internet. She is the algorithm that is the head of BuzzzTube, a video-sharing website.

She is voiced by Taraji P. Henson.

Background

As the head algorithm of BuzzzTube, Yesss controls all facets of the site; this ranges to everything from its content to its web design and to even its marketing. As her job is to capitalize on all things popular in the human world, Yesss is always up to date with the latest trends. As a fashionista, she has the ability to constantly shift the look of her hair and clothing to reflect whatever's in style on the web at the time.

Yesss' success is well established. Her office is decorated with numerous awards honoring BuzzzTube's accomplishments. By human standards, she is extremely well off, as her site generates countless hearts per day, which can be converted into real money.

Yesss works closely with her assistant Maybe, who helps her keep track of the latest trends. Maybe is far less picky with content selection, however, which mildly annoys the more selective Yesss. Yesss also commands an army of pop-up advertisers, who are tasked with traveling to different sites to promote BuzzzTube's most popular content.

Personality

Yesss is always very busy and busy having to control and manage an entire BuzzTube site 24 hours a day, and for this reason she is often strict and determined and tries to be a suitable and effective leader. She also acts like a soldier when she sends her employees to attract people to her site. She is also shown to be grumpy and a little rude, since she chases Ralph and Vanellope away when she doesn't yet know that Ralph has recently become a star of his channel and only lets him in because she finds out that he is. This also makes her detached in her relationships with others.

Yesss is also shown to be very intelligent, knowing how things go, how they work and giving advice to others. She can also be a little sarcastic.

However, Yesss can be comforting and altruistic, she is a bit of a motherly voice of reason. She calls some of her friends "babies" or "swities" and is shown to be nice and sincere towards Ralph when he was depressed because he saw many negative comments about him. She even puts herself in Ralph's shoes when she sees him sad and consoles him. When there is an emergency she is always available affectionately.

Yesss also has an inflated ego, since her site, BuzzTube, has almost unlimited success, she behaves like a super hottie.

Biography

Yesss is first mentioned by Shank at Slauter Race after Ralph and Vanellope tried to steal her car and she did a funny video about Ralph.

Shank Tells them to go to Yesss to get the money that Ralph's BuzzTube video earned. Although Ralph is initially reluctant to the idea, after Eboy warned him that the purchased steering wheel is only eight hours away, Ralph makes up his mind.

Arriving there, Yesss is first seen with Maybe, and is very nervous about her job. After seeing Ralph and Vanellope enter, she immediately gets upset and wants to kick them out.

However, after Maybe warns her that Ralph's video has gotten many hearts, Yesss quickly calms down and tells Maybe to buy Ralph a drink. So she starts talking about Shank saying that she is a fantastic friend.

After hearing Ralph’s idea of making more videos of him, she’s totally okay with it and to speed up the work, she posts her netizense pop-ups on other websites to watch Ralph.

Vanellope would like to go with them, Yesss asks if he is persistent enough and after trying it gives her permission and a phone to keep in touch with Ralph.

Yesss plans to send Vanellope to Slauter Race as she likes it to death, but Ralph (not having found Shank at all nice) says to send her to Oh My Disney's residence with Yesss' Conviction.

While Vanellope is away, Yesss and Ralph focus on the final video, but it fails to load.

So Ralph runs into the video room and starts stealing hearts and putting them in his videos, but then ends up in the video comment room and seeing that he has received several negative reviews he begins to get depressed.

Yesss then, after reaching him, immediately understands what is wrong and immediately consoles Ralph by reassuring him that everyone is special as he already is and warning him that he has achieved more than he should have.

Later in the film after Ralph accidentally unleashed all over the Internet Arthur spread in his virus clones, Shank rushes to rescue Ralph and Vanellope after they they called her thanks to KnowsMore, Unfortunately Arthur joins together with Ralph's virus clones and creates a huge Ralphzilla and throws the 3 into Yesss' office.

Yesss and Ralph tries to lift the vehicle but as soon as they see Arthur joining the Virus Ralphs, Ralph tells Yesss to get Vanellope to safety while he keeps Arthur at bay.

Unfortunately, Arthur bumps into the building and ends up trapped Yesss and captures Vanellope. Yesss who finally managed to break free is last seen accompanying Vanellope in her vehicle (put back into operation) to Oh My Disney after Ralph defeated / killed Arthur and his viruses, and was then rescued by Disney Princesses, and she laughs heartily to see that Ralph was slipped into an outfit identical to Snow White's during the rescue.

All of the advertising presents Yesss as the main antagonist who intends to destroy Ralph and Vanellope and take over the Internet. But when the film is released, she turns out to be a heroic character
