Flia is a female pteranodon from Disney's Dinosaur. The type of pteranodon Flia is a geosternbergia.
Biography
Flia is first seen in one of the early scenes of the film where she swoops down and grabs Aladar's egg from the river. After grabbing the egg Flia flies across the ocean to lemur island where she drops the egg after being attacked by birds. Now in the film Flia is more of neutral character rather than a hero but in video game however she is more heroic in there then she is in the movie.
While only having a minor role in the film Flia is a main character in the Dinosaur game. In the game she helps Aladar and the other characters with many missions in the game and also helps with fighting against enemies. Now the game starts off with Aladar as a egg just like in the movie however unlike the movie the game starts out with Flia grabbing Aladar's egg and then falls to lemur island with the egg. Another similarity between the film and game is that Flia gets attacked by birds and drops the egg.
However unless the movie when Flia drops the egg in the game she goes looking for the egg and finds it after finding the egg Flia deliveries it to the lemurs. After delivering the egg years pass by and Aladar is now grown up once Aladar is an adult Flia helps him with a few missions around the island. As Flia, Aladar and lemurs live their lives a gaint metor hits the earth wiping out all life on the island. Aladar and his family survive and so does Flia after that the characters work together to survive until they run into a herd of dinosaurs heading to the nesting grounds.
Flia, Aladar and his family join the herd and help each other along the way. Not only is Flia more heroic in the game than she is in the film Flia is also one of the main characters in game.
