The Bartender is the main protagonist of the arcade games Tapper and Root Beer Tapper and is a minor character in the 2012 Disney movie Wreck-It Ralph.
Biography
In the arcade game Tapper, the Bartender must serve as many of his customers as he can while making such he also collects any empty mugs and money from his tips jar. He must also make sure his customers are not distracted before serving drinks or the mugs could shatter on the ground. The quicker he serves the drinks, the higher his score will be. Due to concerns over the games references to alcohol, another version of it was made called Root Beer Tapper in which the Bartender becomes a Soda Jerk who must quickly serve mugs of root beer to his many customers.

Wreak-It Ralph
The Bartender is a supporting character in Disney's 52nd full-length animated feature film, Wreck-It Ralph, and is the bartender at Tapper's. He seems to be one of Ralph's few close friends, and is trusted by Ralph for "never giving him a bum steer". In the story, Ralph goes to him for advice on how he can win a medal, but the bartender is at a loss of what to suggest. Tapper directs Ralph to the Lost and Found in hopes that he can find something useful there. Later in the movie, Tapper is seen at Felix and Calhoun's wedding in the crowd of attendants.
Appearance
Tapper is a stocky little man with short brown hair and a handlebar mustache. He has rosy cheeks, large, blue eyes, and a large, pinkish nose. He wears a blue vest over a white shirt with a high collar, accented by a red bowtie. His trousers are a deep reddish-brown.
