Roos Tarpals is a minor character in the Star Wars franchise, serving as a supporting character in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and the season 4 episode "Shadow Warrior" of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
He was a Gungan general and close friend of Jar Jar Binks, both of whom led the Gungan Army to defend Naboo from the Trade Federation invasion. He helped Jar Jar Binks fight against Trade Federation during the Invasion of Naboo. He was later killed by General Grievous.
He was voiced by Steven Speirs in The Phantom Menace and was voiced by Fred Tatasciore in The Clone Wars who also voiced AAARRRGGHH!!! in Tales of Arcadia and Pacha in the Tv Series.
History
Roos Tarpals was a Gungan that played a small but vital part in the greater galactic conflict that led to the Clone Wars and then an even larger part in the shape of the Clone Wars. He begins the film as a patrol guard in the underwater city of Otoh Gunga. Jar Jar Binks ends up as his commanding officer in the Battle of Naboo.
