He was portrayed by Benny Safdie.
Appearance
Nari was a humanoid male with black hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. Despite appearing human, Nari is actually a Force-sensitive alien that looks human. It is unknown what species he is.
History
Nari escaped Order 66 as a youngling, and took refuge on the planet Tatooine. Some time after arriving, Nari used his powers to help a saloon order who was being assailed by thieves, which cost him his safety. With rumors of him being a Jedi floating around, the cantina owner allowed Nari to stay there. This invited the Inquisitors to the saloon, who one day entered the saloon and accused the owner of hiding a fugitive Jedi. The owner denied the accusation, and while talking to the Grand Inquisitor, the impulsive Third Sister threw a knife towards his head, which he was saved from by Nari, who used the Force from where he was sitting. The Third Sister immediately tried to kill Nari with her lightsaber, but he was saved by the Grand Inquisitor, who wanted him alive for interrogation. Despite succeeding in finding the Jedi, the Grand Inquisitor criticized the Third Sister for her recklessness, preventing her from chasing Nari. Because of this, Nari was able to escape.
After escaping, he met a man he recognized as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a random town in Tatooine. Nari begged Kenobi to help him, stating that the people needed the Jedi, but Kenobi told him that it would be best refused to help him, stating that the Jedi had lost and it would be best if he buried his lightsaber and go back to town to live a normal life. Nari left, extremely disappointed that Kenobi no longer had any passion for Jedi, and was eventually captured by the Inquisitors. Kenobi saw his body hanging on display in Anchorhead, and quickly looked away, saddened.
Personality
Nari was a very selfless individual, choosing to use the Force to save the saloon owner when he knew that using the Force would expose his identity as a Jedi. He later meets Obi-Wan Kenobi and points out that people need the Jedi, showing a determination to remain a Jedi to help others despite the almost insuperable effort to purge them being done by the Empire. He told Kenobi that there was still hope for the Jedi, seemingly idolizing the guile nature of the former Jedi Master, and stating that there was no way the Inquisitors could have managed to find and kill all the Jedi. When Kenobi dismissed his request to help him, Nari left dejected, and was next seen on display in the town of Anchorhead, now a corpse. This would affect the self-consciousness of Kenobi.
