“ | You are a clone and a soldier in the Republic Army. Our mission depends on it. | „ |
~ Colonel Meebur Gascon to Gregor |
“ | It was an honor to serve with you, Rex. It was an honor to fight with you for something that we chose to believe in. | „ |
~ Gregor's last words. |
Gregor, real name CC-5576-39, is the deuteragonist of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Mission in Action" and a supporting character in both the 2014-2018 animated television series Star Wars Rebels and the 2021 Disney+ animated streaming series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, a spin-off of The Clone Wars.
He was a Clone Commando who fought in the Battle of Sarrish.
He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.
Background
Gregor was fought alongside an elite team of clone troopers in the Battle of Sarrish. After the battle, the survivors thought Gregor was withdrawn. The Republic helped Gregor regained his memories and he agreed to help them in a mission. He salvaged his armor and weapons from his boss to foil a Separatist bombing plan.
Gregor used the explosive kegs to destroy the battle droids and most of the Separatist building. Gregor's partners refused to leave him, but Gregor insists that he will return.
Personality
When suffering from amnesia, Gregor was naïve, soft-spoken, cowardly, and not very confident. However, as D-Squad helped him regain his memories, Gregor's personality changed; he becomes confident, outspoken, brave, proud, selfless, moral, and honorable. He then realized Borkus was treating him like a slave, and became a proud soldier for the Republic once again. After the explosion on Abafar, Gregor slowly went insane and became rickety.
