The Lawn Mite is a small creature found around the Grasslands biome in large swarms. It is more commonly found in dry areas. It has the smallest health pool of any hostile, making it the weakest enemy in the game. It is considerably smaller than the player but larger than the Aphid. They have a infected variant and two upper yard variants being Dust Mites and Ticks.
Behavior
Lawn Mites semi-randomly patrol within a small defined area. If a perceived threat is spotted, they break from this route and chase. Lawn Mites move relatively slowly but they can close distances by jumping at threats. Their main attack is through jumping and hitting threats at close range.
Interactions With Player
The Lawn Mite is hostile toward the player. When the player is spotted, it crawls or jumps until within distance. While attacking, it will lunge at the player and attempt to chase them if they move away.
Interactions With Other Creatures
Mites are hostile to Aphids, Weevils, Bombardier Beetles, and Ladybugs (or vice versa, as it can be hard to tell which is neutral or hostile to the other). They do not attack other creatures unless directly hurt by them.
Advanced Loot Table
This is a more advanced covering of the loot-table of Lawn Mite. Each item has an independent chance and count, in which the chance is the chance it can drop and the count is the amount of items that have that chance. If a count larger than 1 is in one section, then each item has an independent chance from one another (EX: Instead of getting say 2 of a resource, you can get 1 with a 70% chance and another with an additional 70% chance). In terms of Stealing, it can take one item from every section of the loot table, so even if a item count is say 5, the player will only steal one from that section.
Creature Loot Tables also tend to have large amounts of 1% items, which is intended to make stealing more rare items harder, as the player is more likely to steal the large amounts of 1% items than a singular 50% item.
Note: For consistency sake, all duplicate categories have a multiplier next to them, but function as unique loot types when say using Stealing.

Strategy
Lawn Mites are relatively easy to kill, but it is recommended to have some form of weapon to kill them with. Their attacks are easy to both block and dodge.
Trivia
- These creatures are based off of real life Lawn Mites. However, the term "lawn mites" usually refers to a large group of mites like Red Grass Mites, Spider Mites, Clover Mites or Chiggers. So it's hard to pinpoint exactly what kind of mite this is. They most closely resemble Red Velvet Mites.
