As they go deeper into Nereid, 
Lord wanted to search more clues about where the next Magic Sigil could be, lead by his mentor 
Alfred they encounter one native of the Tiger Tribe, Lilid. Usually in order to safely pass they would need to pay a tribute, Alfred said something about paying gold when he last visited, but the offer required this time was food, looking for meat he chose Ian to be the tribute. As they have no other choice but to decline they fought Lilid and then he told them how the natives in Nereid is suffering because of having low supplies of food, one of the reason is that the animals in the forest were becoming sand.

After the confrontation, Lilid showed them the way to return to their village until he saw 
Jack along the way. He calls Jack a holy wolf, a being worshiped by his people and told them that he will follow him no matter what. Still surprised on what happened, they include Lilid into the team.
