 Hongyeom is a  Rock property,  Area-attack type Hero. While standing on  Lava, she boosts her critical rate and critical damage and her skills gain extra effects. Her 3^rd skill,  Rising Phoenix Slash, allows her to fully make use of her kit by turning all surrounding terrain into  Lava. And as a side effect, the  Lava she creates deals damage to all of her enemies.

Background/Story

 Hongyeom is one of the Four Symbols in the Sia Continent, the Vermillion Bird. In fact, she has been recently promoted to her current position following the untimely passing of her master, the previous Vermillion Bird. Like the other Symbols, she is highly regarded in Sia, despite being currently wanted by the  Right Sibyl after assisting the Left Sibyl  Ara escape from the palace together with  Ildo.

Monghyeong Harbor

After leading  Lord and company back to Sia,  Ara started telling everyone about her story of how she escaped her twin sister, the  Right Sibyl, with the assistance of her loyal escort  Ildo and the Vermillion Bird  Hongyeom. From the info they collected from enemies,  Lord and  Ara deduced that  Ildo is still in Monghyeong Harbor, faithfully waiting for  Ara's return, while  Hongyeom has moved to Muhan to further investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of her master and the  Right Sibyl.

Muhan

Immediately after reaching Muhan,  Lord and companies encounter a pair of traveling  mechant and  dancer, who were attacked by local beasts. With  Lord's assistance, the traveling pair was saved from the beasts. They decided to tag along with  Lord since their destinations shared the same direction, which  Lord agreed. Once they part ways before Lord encountering  Taehwa's group, the traveling duo observed  Lord's might through his battle with  Taehwa. The duo themselves now decided to go separate way as the  dancer would like to tail the  Left Sibyl. Once they reached Blade Peak, where the  Left Sibyl believed was  Hongyeom's hiding place,  Hongyeom decided to reveal herself to the group, teasing  Ara for unable to tell from her disguise.  Hongyeom requested to test his ability one more time before acknowledge his power and join  Lord's group, with the goal to assist  Ara.

Recruitment

 Hongyeom joins your team after collecting 670 of her genes at the Blade Peak, Muhan. Recruiting her is a requirement to proceed further in the story.

• She is referred to as Scarlet in the game's asset files.
• She was a dancer before becoming one the Four Symbols.
• She is one of the Four Symbols along with White Tiger  Sogoon, Azure Dragon  Woryeong and Black Turtoise  Jinyo.
• The Vermilion Bird is one the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations.^[1]
•  Hongyeom was teased at the end of the book Blooming Swamp, the 1-year anniversary event, a few months before her official debut in Season 2. She was initially referred to as 'Red Serendi' due to her appearance similar to that of the dryad  Serendi and the fact that Serendi was the author of the said book. Also in that book, she appeared to be searching for something for her master, before  Siril decided that she was from a wrong book and zapped her away.
