Ain is the boss of Chapter 12 of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. He is the very first Manakete the player encounters throughout the events of the game, and his dialogue hints that he is actually a War Dragon. Ain was instructed by Flaer to guard Jutes, the capital of the Western Isles.

Hasha no Tsurugi
He makes a brief cameo appearance in Chapter 13 of the Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi manga. Later, he plays a large role in Chapter 18 of the manga, which is the same as his in-game appearance. He is killed by Kilmar by using his sword and borrowing Al's Sword in the manga version.
