The Tone Death is a melee weapon in Fallout 76, introduced in the Test Your Metal update. It is a variant of the death tambo.

Characteristics

The Tone Death is a weaponized tambourine that has been modified with spikes and a grip. It jingles whenever it is thrust.

• 40% faster swing speed
• Reduce your target's damage output by 25% for 5s
• +1 Strength

The weapon is also very useful to keep in one's inventory, as it weighs only 0.5 but equipping it increases max carry weight by 5. Players can temporarily equip it if they need to travel but they happen to be a little over-encumbered.

It has a 1/6 chance of being rewarded after completion of Event: Eviction Notice.
