Scavenger traders are vendors operating around Appalachia.
Background
Scavenger traders typically travel alone and specialize in a single category of items, including armor, weapons, food, medical supplies, or miscellaneous items. Trader inventories are largely random with some items dependent on their current location. Scavenger traders can often be found at campsites and around abandoned houses.

Notes
- The chem-selling variant of the trader is named "trader" in-game instead of "scavenger trader." The chem trader is also the only one with unique voice lines (voiced by Kara Kovacich Stewart); the others share their dialogue with traveling merchants, whose voice types are also shared with Foundation Settlers.
- The weapons trader will always sell the plan and each mod plan for the bow and compound bow.

Scavenger traders appear in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.
