Weapon of Science (
Summary
Less than a moment after his execution in the previous chapter, Senku's lifeless body plumets to the ground.
Tsukasa reflects on the situation, lamenting that in the old world, Senku could have been his first real friend should they have met. He imagines himself partaking in the stories Senku told, befriending Taiju and Yuzuriha, and also bringing along a small girl (whom was not elaborated on until many chapters later).
A sweet fantasy, but a fantasy still; in the real world, Taiju and Yuzuriha are desperately lamenting the death of Senku to Tsukasa's hands. It is now that Tsukasa contemplates the possibility that Taiju might erupt with rage and attack him so relentlessly he'd have to kill him as well, hoping this won't be the case.
Taiju takes action, but comforts Yuzuriha telling that he hasn't lost his mind yet, as he lifts a massive boulder from the ground, making Tsukasa take a defensive stance. Suddenly, he sends the boulder flying high into the air, and Tsukasa is very confused initially by this move.
Tsukasa watches the rock's trajectory, but doesn't lose sight of Taiju, suspecting this attack may be a mere distraction. In watching Taiju however, Tsukasa overlooks how Yuzuriha has sprinted off and tossed a clay pot at him, which he manages to smash with a kick at the last moment, enveloping him in a cloud of what he soon realizes to be black powder, which detonates an instant later, when the stone Taiju tossed hit the ground causing sparks.

Chapter Notes
- An unnamed girl is seen in Tsukasa's fantasy, she is later revealed to be his younger sister.
- The reason why Tsukasa didn't take notice of Yuzuriha attacking him with black powder, is pointed out to be that he didn't expect a woman to take a fighting role in a stone age survival situation, under the idea that it would be a man's job to protect her. Yuzuriha can fight back because Science gives power to everyone, the weak and the strong.
- Taiju and Yuzuriha escape with Senku.
