Role in the series
"Fire from the Sky"
When the Lion Guard can't figure out who is behind all the fire falling from the sky due to Ono explaining that egrets like him cannot fly that high to figure out, Beshte gets his friend Anga to help them. Anga spots the vultures and shoos them away. She reports back to the Guard and Kion thinks that they should get all the birds to help. Ono says that they should get Hadithi to help too, to which Anga goes with Ono to get Hadithi.
The Lion Guard and Anga locate Hadithi talking to a flock of birds and Anga is very excited to meet him; Ono tells him that the Pride Lands needs his help so the three birds fly off. Hadithi and Kion ask the other birds for their help until Ono spots the vultures. Kion gives his order and all the birds fly off to stop the vultures from taking over Maumivu Thorn Patch. While fighting the vultures, Anga becomes wounded during the fight; Ono grabs her and tries to lift her, but she is too heavy for him. Hadithi swoops in underneath her but is attacked by the vultures himself. He falls to the ground, and Ono is able to slow Anga's descent. Although trapped in a thorn bush, Hadithi is otherwise safe and manages to get himself out of the thorns.
However, the birds in the sky need a leader, and Hadithi knows that Ono and Anga can do it. They take to the sky and finish their mission, rounding up the vultures and Kion uses his Roar of the Elders, Hadithi gets out of the thorn bush and Kion thanks the birds of the Pride Lands for their help.
"Battle for the Pride Lands"
Anga informed the Lion Guard about the Army of Scar which was spotted near Mapango Cliffs, which the Guard planned to ward off the intruders. Several seasons later, the Guard kept warding off Scar's army invading the Pride Lands. After many altercations between Scar's army and the animals of the Pride Lands, Simba then approached Anga and the Lion Guard at Flat Ridge Rock planning to end Scar's tyranny. To Simba's surprise, Anga and Ono rallied the birds of the Pride Lands to help fight against the Outlanders.
During battle, Anga monitored the birds of the Pride Lands to help fight against Scar, along with Ono. That night, Scar's army cause a wildfire at Pride Rock, which Anga manages to chase away with the help of several birds; afterward, she arrived at the promontory of Pride Rock where Kion's royal family was surrounded by the fire. In a plan to rescue the royal family surrounded by fire, Anga was able to rescue Kiara, much to Nala's worry which Anga replies to Nala that she was always. With Kiara rescued, Anga brought in Hadithi, as the two eagles manage to rescue Simba and Nala as well, saving the royal family from the fire.
After they were able to rescue Kion's family from the fire, Simba thanked Anga and Hadithi for helping them. However, the ghost of Scar emerged and claimed about Kion's fate, only for Kion to arrive at the Pride Lands albeit without any injuries. After Scar's ghost disappears after giving out a plan to take over the Pride Lands, the animals of the Pride Lands felt concerned about Scar; Janja and Jasiri, however, arrived with the former telling Kion that he would be able to work together to defeat Scar by using the Roar of the Elders inside the volcano. This leads Kion and Simba to lead the animals of the Pride Lands to ready themselves for battle.
The next morning, Anga then participates in the battle against Scar in the Outlands with various other animals from the Pride Lands. During battle, Anga and Hadithi battled against Mzingo's flock of vultures which Hadithi complimented on her work. However, the battle ends when Kion defeated Scar, resulting in the animals of the Pride Lands to win the battle. Later, after Ono loses his sight while rescuing Bunga from falling into the lava after Bunga stops Ushari from attacking Kion, he passes his role of the keenest of sight to Anga, making her the sixth member of the Lion Guard while Ono becomes the Smartest. Afterwards, Anga, Makini, and the rest of the Guard travel far into the Tree of Life in order to get Kion and Ono healed respectively.
"The Harmattan"
During the Guard's journey to the Tree of Life, Anga and the rest of the Guard arrived at the first landmark: a waterfall at the backlands; Anga then spotted the next landmark, an iroko tree, from a distance. As the Guard heads toward the tree, they were stalked by Makucha and his two leopard cronies Fahari and Jiona until a dust storm known as a harmattan arrives. During the harmattan, Anga uses her eyesight to guide the rest of the Lion Guard to a cave by the waterfall only to find out that Makucha, Fahari, and Jiona are inside.
While hiding in the cave, Makucha offered Anga and the rest of the Guard to guide them out of his territory which Kion accepted in which the leopards and the Guard begin to venture out into the harmattan. Along the way, Makini discussed with Anga, revealing that many sick animals arrive at this area for them to be healed, while Makucha and his allies planned to lead the Guard off a cliff and force Makini to lead the Guard to the Tree of Life. Soon as the Guard arrived at a canyon that ended at a cliff, the Guard was unable to see the danger through the harmattan, while Ono warned his team members who started facing Makucha. During a scuffle, Anga manages to rescue Bunga about to fall off the cliff. As the wind becomes stronger, Ono warned Anga and the rest of the Guard to take shelter; however, Makucha and his leopard cronies Fahari and Jiona do not hear Ono's warning and suddenly get blown away. Makucha devises a plan to follow the Guard into the Tree of Life, but his allies refused to, leaving Makucha on his own to track the Guard on their way to the Tree.
As the Guard finds their way through the harmattan, Anga and the rest of the Guard arrived at the iroko tree. Upon arriving at the iroko tree, Anga and the rest of the Guard set off for a two-peaked mountain as the next landmark throughout their journey.
"The Accidental Avalanche"
Anga and the rest of the Lion Guard arrive at the snow monkeys' territory. Upon arriving, the snow monkeys mistaken Anga as a threat to them - despite her gentleness and the warning about snow monkeys being sensitive to eagles and other large birds. After Kion, who was impatient, accidentally destroys the snow monkeys' home due to the Power of the Roar which caused an avalanche, Anga finds them a new one after they misunderstood her to which she and the Lion Guard work together after accepting Yuki's offer to find a new home.
As Yuki and her troop find a new home, Anga and Lion Guard noticed the snow monkeys' disappearance while being scared off by a group of flying squirrels, leading Kion and his team to investigate. When Anga and the rest of the Guard arrived at the area where the flying squirrels frightened the snow monkeys, Bunga fell into the hole, much to Ono's worry upon seeing Bunga who fell into a hole with the monkeys. When Kion is devising a plan to Fuli to rescue Yuki and her troop, Fuli then alerts Anga to get the snow monkeys out of the hole. Soon as Anga approached the snow monkeys, she told them that she would rescue them to safety with her talons. Yuki and her troop started to react in fear, which Fuli suggests Anga should be the one to rescue them. Unsure of what to do with the snow monkeys at first fearing that they would react in fear again, Anga manages to be confident in planning to rescue the snow monkeys who fell into a hole. Soon as Anga arrives at the hole where Bunga and the snow monkeys are at, Anga tells them to not make any sudden movements to avoid making the hole deeper. She also tells the snow monkeys to trust her, telling them that she will not harm the monkeys which the monkeys accept her trust. Anga manages to rescue the snow monkey troop in time.
After Anga rescues Bunga and the snow monkeys, Yuki praises Anga, complimenting the latter for being a gentle eagle. Kion asks Anga to help Yuki and her troop find a new home which the eagle agrees. She then leads the snow monkeys to a new hot spring. Soon as Anga gives Kion some tuliza, she explains to him that she found a Moja Kwa Moja Stone around a nearby slope. Anga then played at the hot spring with Kimyo and Nabasu.
"Ghost of the Mountain"
Continuing their way to the Tree of Life, Anga and the rest of the Guard arrived at a bamboo forest where she finds a patch of tuliza, which Bunga manages to get some tuliza for Kion only for the honey badger to encounter a pack of red pandas led by Domog, while Anga and the rest of the Guard notice the pandas treating Bunga as their protector. Just then, Domog, the pack leader, approached the group, telling Kion's team about a "ghost" started haunting them, which Kion agreed to find the "ghost" which Domog has spoken of and defeat it.
Soon as Anga and the rest of the Guard arrive at a snowy mountain, they encounter an invisible creature which Anga notices that the "ghost of the mountain" is a snow leopard named "Chuluun". Through teamwork, Anga and the rest of the Guard cornered Chuluun against a rock where Kion warns her to stop scaring away the red pandas, which Chuluun refuses, telling her that she follows her own rules; Bunga confronts her while Chuluun fought against him and then escaped into the bamboo forest.
Anga then notices Chuluun scaring away the red pandas to which the Lion Guard planned to rescue the pandas only for Chuluun to retreat. Domog asked the Guard to know if they found the elusive "ghost of the mountain" which the team explained that Chuluun was the one being the ghost of the mountain; Anga and the rest of the Guard then plan to defeat Chuluun with the red pandas joining in. Back at the mountain, Anga, the rest of the Guard, and the red pandas surround Chuluun at a cliff to which during battle, Bunga uses his stench ability to defeat her. With Chuluun foiled, Anga, the rest of the Guard, and the red pandas return to the bamboo forest, as they praise the Guard for their teamwork. Soon as the Guard finds a Moja Kwa Moja Stone that leads from a bamboo forest to a snowy mountain, Anga and the rest of the Guard follow the path to continue their journey to the tree of life as the red pandas bid a farewell to the Lion Guard who continue their journey to the Tree of Life.
"Marsh of Mystery"
As Kion and his team continue their journey to the Tree of Life, Anga and the rest of the Guard arrive at a marsh where she and the rest of the Lion Guard is attacked by a pack of territorial mongooses which Makini escaped with Ono to protect himself from the mongooses. After the fight, Anga and the rest of the Guard realized that Makini and Ono were missing, resulting in a plan to find them.
With Anga and the rest of the Guard under attack by the mongooses, Kion finally pinned down one singular mongoose, who explained to Kion that the reason why the mongooses are angry is because Bunga kept eating their snails. Just then, Makini and Ono emerged from underground, reuniting themselves with Anga and the rest of the Guard. Later while on their way to find the next stone, Anga then warns Bunga not to eat any more snails, picking him up with her talons and to prevent Bunga from causing the mongooses to act hostile in the first place. The Guard continues their journey to the Tree of Life.
"Dragon Island"
As Anga and the rest of the Guard arrive at an island, Kion wondered where the next Moja Kwa Moja stone is at, which Anga replies that the next one is on a hill on the island only to stop at the edge of the sea. They suddenly encounter a dolphin named Lumba-Lumba who rescued Bunga who was playing in the waves. Soon as Lumba-Lumba explains about her love toward the ocean, the Lion Guard bids her a farewell as they continue their journey across the island.
Attempting to cross a land bridge, Anga and the rest of the Guard encounter an elderly civet, giving an alert about Komodo dragons living on the island just as they continue their way, much to the civet's warnings. Soon as Makini finds a patch of tuliza on a hill, Anga and the rest of the Guard encounter a vicious Komodo dragon named Ora and his two cronies who confront the Guard. Kion, however, uses the Roar of the Elders against Ora and his group, but the Roar caused the water to be pushed back from the island followed by a tidal wave which Anga manages to save Makini from the wave. Later when the Guard found Lumba-Lumba stranded on land, Kion puts Fuli in charge which the latter commands Anga, Makini, and Ono to find tuliza for Kion while Fuli and the rest of Kion's team plan to dig a tunnel from the sea to bring Lumba-Lumba back to the ocean.
Soon as Anga, Makini, and Ono find another Moja Kwa Moja Stone marking the next landmark leading to a tree on a cliff while trying to retrieve tuliza, the suddenly hear Ora and the Komodo dragons attacking the Lion Guard and Lumba-Lumba. Anga later sees Ora and the Komodo dragons preparing to eat Lumba-Lumba and helps stop the big lizard by dropping seaweed on him to which the Guard was able to defeat the Komodo dragons and save Lumba-Lumba by bringing her back to the ocean. Afterwards, Anga and the rest of the Guard continue their journey to find the next Moja Kwa Moja Stone.
"Journey of Memories"
Continuing their journey to the Tree of Life, Anga and the rest of the Guard encounter a Moja Kwa Moja Stone at a riverbed which Makini remembers that she visited the place with her parents, telling the Guard to take a brief detour and visit it only to find out that the waterfall had tried up. Anga then spots another Moja Kwa Moja Stone, just as the Guard continued their journey. Along the way, the Guard then arrives at a dry pool Anga found that Makini remembers. Ono then explains that the next landmark the Guard will encounter is a patch of white flowers, only for the area itself to be a desert. Soon as the Guard crosses the desert, Anga then plans to provide shade for Beshte when he was burning due to the intsense heat. On their way to the cliffs, Anga warns the Guard that a sandstorm is coming to which the Guard protected themselves from the sandstorm. Surving the sandstorm, Anga and the rest of the Guard encounter a jerboa named Tupp who led them to a plant with water on its leaves, replenishing the Guard with water. Anga questions Tupp about how he found the plant, which the latter replies to her that animals live in the desert use the stars to navigate their way, which made the Guard realize that the "flowers" the Guard was looking for were actually stars. The Guard then followed the stars to the cliffs to continue their journey to the Tree of Life.
"The Race to Tuliza"
Anga, Makini, and the rest of the Lion Guard relax at sea until a flock of flamingos arrives to have fun which they call "Flamingo Beach". As the flamingos party noisily to cause a disturbance, Anga and the rest of the Guard tried to stop a flock of flamingos bothering Kion due to the scar bothering him as the noise can make him upset. As soon as Kion woke up and attempted to roar at the flamingos, Fuli and Azaad find Tuliza for him, which Kion calmed down and cancelled his plan to roar at them. However, Kion then realizes that he should leave the flamingos alone so that they can relax in the sea just as the Guard continues their journey to the Tree.
"Mama Binturong"
Anga and the rest of the Guard journey across a tropical forest, where various animals panic every time the Guard mentions tuliza, much to the Guard's worry while Smun, a nearby porcupine, watches the team on their way to the Tree, which Mama Binturong explains that every tuliza belongs to her. Later, Bunga played a prank on a civet named "Tompok" who fell into a river which Anga rescues him in time. The Guard questioned Tompok to know why the animals are afraid to mention tuliza, only for the civet to retreat again. Mama Binturong then watched the Guard from afar, ordering her porcupines to take away Makini's staff, which the Lion Guard realizes that the porcupines took her staff as they have arrived at a hideout.
After encountering a gibbon named "Seisou", Anga and the team questioned him where the staff would be, advising Anga and the team to talk to Bambun to Tompok then a mouse deer and then Seisou again who knows about the missing staff. At the cave, Seisou tells the Guard that this is the only place where no porcupine has ever heard an animal say, "Tuliza", explaining the reason why the animals are afraid to say "Tuliza" is because it only makes Mama Binturong angry and sends her porcupines the animal taking it and as Kion asks him to know where Mama Binturong's hideout is, he explains that her hideout is in the Stone Forest, a place where Mama Binturong and her porcupines are able to get through it safely. Just as Anga and the rest of the Guard arrives at the Stone Forest, Bunga is the only one who is able to get through the Stone Forest to retrieve Makini's missing staff, while Anga sees a lot of tuliza marking Mama Binturong's hideout. Having defeated Mama Binturong and her porcupine henchmen and retrieved Makini's missing staff, Anga and the rest of the Guard continue their journey to the Tree of Life.
"Friends to the End"
As Anga and the rest of the Guard continue their journey to the Tree of Life, Kion tells the team to be as fast which they stopped for a break at a watering hole, only for Kion to consist the Guard to keep moving; Fuli asked Makini to give Kion some tuliza, only to find out that the plant did not calm his bad temper. Arriving at a canyon, Anga and the rest of the Guard saw a gosling jumping on a cliff which Beshte insisted to "save" the gosling only for a mother goose to find out that the goslings were learning to fly, feeling disappointed that the Guard caused the goslings to ruin their plans to fly. Shortly afterward, Anga and the rest of the Guard encountered a group of peacocks; however, much to Kion feeling impatient, he rudely shoves their leader, much to his breakdown. Anga and the rest of the Guard reacted in shock of what Kion did to the peacock leader.
After leaving the canyon, Beshte encounters Yun Mibu, a clouded leopard, showing his unique ability to hang from his feet; Kion, however, felt irritated for delaying their plans, causing Yun Mibu to retreat, followed by Kion harshly telling Beshte to stop delaying while Makini offers him some Tuliza, but Kion rejects her offer only for Bunga to tell Kion what Rafiki said if the venom stays in Kion too long, he won't know the difference between right and wrong much to the Lion Guard's disappointment. Soon as Kion tries to calm himself, Anga and the rest of the Guard felt disappointed with Kion's rude actions to the other animals such as shoving the peacock leader, scaring the clouded leopard, and yelling harshly at Beshte. Ashamed of himself that the scar is turning Kion himself evil, Kion decides to cool himself while the Anga and the rest of the Lion Guard talk about Kion's situation about the scar turning him evil. Anga and the rest of the Guard then sing the good moments they had with Kion when he was being kind to the Guard before he got a scar on his face during the final battle against Scar.
After Kion finds himself hanging on a tree branch on a cliff, Anga tries to reach for him but can't, due to the height of the cliff below her. They soon get Yun Mibu to help out, thanks to Beshte brought in the clouded leopard for help, followe by Anga who gave Kion some help. Afterwards, Kion apologized to the rest of the Guard for his breakdown, which they forgive him followed by Makini giving him tuliza, which Fuli tells Kion to get some good rest first before the Guard can continue their journey to the Tree of Life.
"The Tree of Life"
As Anga and the rest of the Guard continue their way to the Tree of Life, Anga finds the last Moja Kwa Moja Stone leading to the Tree of Life. When Makini is in danger on thin ice, Anga tells the Lion Guard that she can't save her as it can move the ice and cause Makini to float away. Also when Makini loses her staff and Anga is tasked to find it, she is unable to do so. Also, the episode then shows that Anga cannot see through mountains. Bunga suddenly causes a rockslide due to his attempt to fetch some honey at the entrance to the Tree of Life, much to Ullu's shock.
While trying to arrive to the Tree, Anga and the rest of the Guard are confronted by the Night Pride (a different pride of lions as their name suggests) led by an adolescent lioness named Rani. During battle, Anga took on Nirmala and avoided her attack by ducking which Kion uses the Roar of the Elders against Baliyo, much to Rani's shock. Rani then condemns Kion and forbids the rest of the Guard entry to the Tree of Life. Later, as Anga and the rest of the Guard plan to free Bunga from the fallen rocks and Kion lamented about his bad choices for causing this incident, Beshte suggested explaining the situation they had with Rani which Kion agrees, planning ot get Ono to receive healing for his sight.
Rani then returns to the Guard who cleared the pass which Kion apologizes to Rani to accept Ono to be healed. After Kion apologizes for using the roar against Baliyo, Rani welcomes the Guard to come to the Tree of Life as Anga and the rest of the Guard are finally welcomed to the Tree of Life.
"The River of Patience"
As Anga and the rest of the Guard finally arrives at the Tree of Life, they encounter Rani's grandmother Queen Janna, which Kion tells her that he and Ono have come to be healed. Seeing that they have the Mark of the Guard, Janna realizes that the Anga and the Guard are from the Pride Lands, asking Nirmala to take a look at Kion and Ono; Janna explains that while healing Ono will be simple, with his remedy being ready in a few days, followed by Kion's ailments planning take both time and patience, which Kion is led away by Nirmala to begin his healing, while Janna asks Rani to show the rest of the Lion Guard around. Rani soon gives Anga and the rest of the Guard a tour of the Tree of Life explaining that the Tree of Life is special because it's home to every kind of habitat, allowing a wide variety of animals to live in it only for Ullu to come up to end the tour.
Anga and the rest of the Lion Guard find Kion waiting for a log; realizing there might be trouble, Kion abandons his task and takes the Guard to the pass to help. Anga and the rest of the Guard arrive at the pass in a rush and, unable to stop, collide with the Night Pride; Rani informs them the villains have been already defeated, pointing they're good at protecting the Tree of Life. When the Night Pride begins describing the invaders, the Lion Guard recognizes them as Makucha's Army, quickly realizing they must have followed them to the Tree of Life; Kion tries to apologize, though the revelation angers Rani greatly.
Later on, Kion complains to the rest of the Guard, not seeing how falling in a river will heal him and his scar. Touched by his friends' faith in him, Kion agrees to try again tomorrow. The next day Makucha's Army soon comes and attacks the Night Pride, as the Lion Guard comes to help and both teams gather to check on Baliyo, with Nirmala confirming the venom will eventually wear off, much to Rani's relief. Kion spots his flower on the ground and, seeing it got trampled during the fight, begins to tell Nirmala of his failure. However, she tells Kion that getting the flower wasn't the point of the task, noting he still managed to finish it. Bunga and Rani assume this means this Kion has been healed, though Kion doesn't feel too sure, guessing there's still more for him to do. Nirmala agrees with Kion, confirming he has taken the first step and still has a long way to go. Kion pauses to instinctively paw at his scar for a moment before stopping himself, realizing he doesn't feel pain and agrees he just needs patience.
"Little Old Ginterbong"
Anga and the rest of the Lion Guard relax with Rani and Baliyo at the Tree of Life. Kion then arrives at the lake, sporting a mud facial that Nirmala says will help treat the venom in his scar. After washing off the mud, Nirmala notes that while Kion is making progress, he still has a long way to go. However, she tells Ono she can now heal him, saying his remedy is ready. Realizing he will get his eyesight back, Ono gets excited and eagerly follows Nirmala to the Tree of Life to get healed. After they leave, Bunga starts chewing water bugs loudly, annoying Fuli. Baliyo thinks that Bunga chewing is kind of quiet for a honey badger.
Anga and the rest of the Lion Guard make their way to the Tree of Life to see Ono get healed. Bunga, though, is still hung up over losing the bug-eating contest to Binga. Anga's sarcasm inspires Bunga to have a stink contest, leaving the others to find Binga. Inside the Tree, Ono gets healed by Queen Janna. Ono is excited to see everyone accept his vision isn't what it used to be. When Ono doesn't see Bunga he questions where he is. Beshte says that Bunga is with Binga and Ono goes to see him. The guard meets Binga and Fuli is shocked that Binga is the friend that wins every contest.
The next day, Anga and the rest of the Lion Guard are seen resting except for Bunga. Ullu wakes them up and asks them to come help fight Makucha's Army. Anga quickly spots Mama Binturong calling for help, saying Chuluun is attacking her. Though Anga reports not seeing Chuluun, Fuli believes she must have hidden in the snow. As the Guard moves in to help, Ono stops as he wonders how exactly would "Granny Ginterbong" know Chuluun's name. Thinking it over, Ono stops the Guard as he realizes that that the "Ginterbong" is used as a trap and is in fact "Mama Binturong". Going over the clues he's picked up all, Ono realizes that Mama Binturong is working with Makcuha; flying overhead, Anga spots the Army making their way to the Tree of Life, proving Ono right as Kion thanks him for his insight.
Kion tells Ullu to warn Rani that "Granny Ginterbong" is a decoy, while he and the rest of the Guard face off against the Army. At the Tree of Life, Rani approaches Ono, having been told by Ullu that he was the one who figured out Mama Binturong's plan. Ono mentions that, even if his vision may not be what it once was, he still wants to help as Rani to thank him. Kion agrees with Rani, saying that even if Ono isn't the Keenest of Sight, he is still the Keenest of Sight. Ono glances at the Mark of the Guard on his shoulder before looking up at his friends with gratitude, finally coming to terms with his self-worth and his role as the Smartest, as Kion declares Ono will always be a part of the Lion Guard.
"Poa the Destroyer"
Beshte and Anga are seen at the lake watching Ono fly. Ono asks Anga to come with him and see what they can see around the Tree of Life.
The Lion Guard and the Night Pride are seen outside the Tree, where Beshte learns all the animals fear him. Rani lists to Beshte all the damage that he caused, explaining he is now being called "Poa the Destroyer"; ashamed and guilt-ridden, Beshte agrees that he is a destroyer and walks way, looking for a place where he can't scare anyone or destroy anything.
Bunga is left confused by it all, noting that everyone always likes Beshte. Hearing this, Ono comes up with a way to help Beshte. He proposes they give the animals a chance to know Beshte, believing they'll like him once they get to know him. Thanking Ono for his insight, Kion and Rani devise a plan: both teams will split, lure the animals to the Tree, and then bring Beshte afterward, allowing them to meet him all over again. Confident that their plan will work, Kion thanks Rani for her help, though she only states that she is just doing her job as both stare at each other warmly.
Bunga and Baliyo arrive with Tangaagim and the penguins, apologizing for being late. When Rani then notices Pinguino isn't with them, Baliyo explains that he refused to come. Noting Pinguino was the one who made the biggest fuss over Beshte, Rani stresses that he needs to be present. Kion sends Anga to find Pinguino and Beshte, who quickly returns saying she's found them both. Beshte and Pinguino soon arrive at the Tree of Life, both singing the "Poa" song as Pinguino rides Besthe's back. This surprises the other animals, who wonder why Pinguino is with "Poa the Destroyer".
Pinguino then reveals that Beshte saved his life, calling him "Poa the Life Saver". Now convinced of Beshte, the animals ask Pinguino what happened to him, with the penguin explaining how Beshte rescued him after he fell from a cliff. Hearing this, Tangaagim apologizes to Beshte for having doubted him, asking him to save his life one day. Climbing on top of Beshte, Pinguino tells the animals to cheer for "Poa", with all of the animals chanting the name over and over. Bunga points Beshte that the animals are still calling him Poa, though Beshte is fine with the name, now thinking it to be "Poa".
"Long Live the Queen"
As Makucha's Army is attacking a family of tigers, Kion, the Lion Guard and the Night Pride come to their rescue. After Makucha's army is dealt with, Ullu appears telling Rani and the Night Pride that Queen Janna wants to see them along with Kion. At the funeral, the rest of the Guard tries to cheer up Baliyo by saying how great his grandmother was just as Anga also gives her condolence to Janna. Afterwards, all the other animals prepare for Rani's coronation. Fuli, Nirmala, and Anga sing a song about the new queen as the other animals cheer for her.
"The Lake of Reflection"
Anga and Fuli try to cheer up Kion when he thinks that he shouldn't lead the guard anymore. Later, she soon remembers a flashback when the Guard was a lot younger - seeing Kion and Bunga in the middle of a race to the watering hole, with Bunga saying, "The winner is a rotten egg" when they were young; though Bunga wins the race, Beshte emerges from the water, saying he got there first, thereby making him the egg, noting he still smells like one. Suddenly, Fuli runs up to Kion, saying a hyena is in the Pride Lands stealing an egg while Beshte suggests getting Simba for help, but Kion says they don't have time to get his dad. Realizing it's up to them to save the egg, the group starts running while Anga follows.
Later, the hyena cub is then revealed to be a young Janja who is seen rolling the egg back to the Outlands. Kion and his friends stop the hyenas and the egg hatches; inside the egg was a younger Ono who said his first words: "Hapana!". After the flashback, Anga and Fuli keep voicing their confidence in Kion to remember what makes Kion really him. Soon, Makucha's Army attacks and they get stopped under Kion's command. Rani notices that Kion can lead after all which the Night Pride and the Lion Guard succeed with Anga warding off Mama Binturong with her talons, with Rani praising Kion for his great leadership.
Triumph of the Roar
At dawn, Makcuha's Army is seen attacking the Night Pride when the Lion Guard comes to help; Nirmala says that Kion is healed and the Guard wonders if they can go home. Kion discusses with the Guard that they need to help the Night Pride to defend the Tree of Life from Makucha's Army.
Anga then notices Makcuha's Army (this time with Fahari, Jiona, two Komodo dragons, Smun, and his prickle) attacking again, as she goes to get Kion, Bunga, and Rani at Cikha Escarpment while Ullu warned the Guard of the ambush. Coming to the rescue, Kion uses his Roar of the Elders to blast the villains away and also creates a tornado to send all the villains far away to never be seen again. Baliyo felt disappointed that they didn't get to see more of Kion's Roar to which Rani asks if Kion and his friends can stick around.
"Journey to the Pride Lands"
Anga and the Guard ask Kion if he's ready to leave the Tree of Life since he's healed and villains of Makucha's army are gone. Kion says that Rani has become such a good friend and is tempting to stay. Soon, as Ullu spots a cheetah revealed to be none other than Azaad approaching the Tree of Life who Fuli met before, Azaad brings Jasiri and Janja to the Tree of Life, alerting warn the Guard that Zira has returned and Kovu and Vitani has fully grown. Rani says goodbye to the Guard and thanks them for helping her defend the Tree of Life.
Upon leaving the Tree of Life, Azaad shows the Guard the fastest way back home. During the journey, Kion uses the Roar in many different ways as they continue from a very long journey back to the Pride Lands. Upon arriving at the Great Stone Wall, Anga notices a leak coming out of it due to Kion's plan of going around. Anga, Jasiri, Janja, and Bunga work together to fix the wall. They soon reach the Outlands and as the animals plan to stop Zira from ruling the Pride Lands.
Return to the Pride Lands
When Anga and the rest of the Guard return to the Outlands on their way back to the Pride Lands, they find out that Zira has completed her journey through the Circle of Life (revealing that this episode takes place after Simba's Pride since Zira died); Kion also finds out that Vitani and a group of lionesses has made her own Lion Guard. Back at the Pride Lands, Anga flies happily with Hadithi who is happy to have Anga back at the Pride Lands. The next day Kion and Vitani's teams have a contest to see which Lion Guard is better. During the competition to see who has keener eyesight, Anga competes with Tazama by trying to find a galago in a cave but has trouble navigating her way through the dark, to which Tazama comes in first, causing Anga to lose to the former.
Later on when both Lion Guards have a tie, Vitani calls for a Mashindano. Kion gives his leadership role to Vitani. Then, Askari comes and says that there's another place that needs the Roar. Kion asks his friends if they want to join him and become protectors of the Tree of Life. They all agree and immediately receive the Mark of the Night Pride. After returning, Kion becomes the King of the Tree of Life and marries Rani in which Anga is seen among the other animals attending Kion and Rani's marriage.
