The Serpent is a recurring monster class in the Disgaea series first introduced in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.
Appearance
Serpents are bulky shark-looking dragons. Their head have coral reef looking horns. A large shark fin is on their back.
In their default coloration, they are blue with white underbellies. Their horns and claws are pink.
Characteristics
Despite their name, Serpents have do not resemble snakes or serpents, physically or otherwise. Instead, they are a subspecies of aquatic dragon that have a major resemblance to sharks, both in appearance, and their behavior, mimicking an intelligent shark. They single mindedly hunt prey using the water as cover.
