Donnerverse is an unofficial appellation referring to the continuity of the Superman movies as envisioned by director Richard Donner.
History
The characters and settings from this reality are patterned after those chronicled in Pre-Crisis Earth-One continuity, but take place in a distinctive separate reality. This reality incorporates events from the four Superman films of the 1970s-80s, the Supergirl movie, and Superman '78. It does not include the 2006 film Superman Returns, though director Bryan Singer does take a lot of cues from the first two films.

Notes
- Many elements presented in the films are now being re-envisioned in DC Comics. For example, the architecture of Krypton and the crystal lattice design of the Fortress of Solitude as seen in currently published DC Comics mirror the effects used in Superman and Superman II.
- The event Dark Crisis revealed an amalgamated reality known as Earth 789, where the events of the Donnerverse and the Burtonverse apparently coexist.[1]
- An unnamed version of this continuity was also revealed to exist in the Arrowverse Multiverse.[2]
- The events of the Titans episode, "Dude, Where's My Gar", would later confirm it;
- This continuity also made a cameo during The Flash movie.
Trivia
- Jimmy Olsen is the only character to appear in all five Donnerverse films.
