Eradicator

The Eradicator is an ancient artifact of Krypton with sentient personality, who has been ally and enemy to Superman. Originally designed as a sort of time capsule, the scientist Kem-L turned him into a weapon to preserve his ideal of Kryptonian culture by eradicating all others. It was kept in the Fortress of Solitude, although it eventually took humanoid form during Reign of the Supermen to replace the deceased Superman. He has been a member of the Outsiders, Team Superman and the Superman Revenge Squad.

Eradicator was created by Roger Stern, first appearing in Action Comics Annual #2 (1989).
