The Free Gift is a miscellaneous object in Crossy Road that can be obtained once per an increasing increment of time (stops increasing at 3 hours). Its function is to give the player a random amount of Coins, from 20-1020 coins.

There are many variants of the appearances of the gifts. Below is a partial list of the variants of gifts.
- Black gift with a white ribbon.
- Blue gift with a yellow lid and pink ribbon.
- Blue gift with a white ribbon.
- Red gift with a black lid and white ribbon.
- Yellow gift with a black lid and blue ribbon.
- Purple gift.
- Pink gift with a white lid and blue ribbon. (Tokens)
Function
Every increasing increment of time, the player will be offered to open up their free gift after a run. Once the player taps the button, a blue screen will pop up with a gift (of random color) in the middle of the screen. There are two ways to open it: the player can either tap the gift, or the button below it. Once you open it, a random amount of coins will be given to you. The amount ranges from 40 to 520 coins, although 10.400 have occured. After collecting the reward, the player will immediately be exited out back to the game. In the Micro Update, players receive quests after receiving the gifts' offers, and another one will be earned after completing the quest.
Times
First Gift: Instant
Second Gift: 3 minutes
Third Gift: 6 minutes
Fourth Gift: 30 minutes
Fifth Gift: 1 hour
Sixth Gift: 2 hours
Seventh Gift: 3 hours
It should be noted that the time between gifts stops increasing at the seventh gift, so after the seventh gift, all gifts have a three-hour wait.

Crossy Road will send notifications to you once per day after a free gift is avaliable. The game will send notifications in the following order:

- Don't forget to collect your free gift.
- Play a game of Crossy Road and collect your gift too!
