Ace (formerly known as Jughead) is a secret mascot in Crossy Road, added in the Micro Update.
Appearance
As of the Halloween Update, Ace is a humanoid character with black hair, a green shirt, and a red cap.
Prior to being changed to Ace, the character was known as Jughead. He wore a yellow shirt with a white letter S on the front, a gray crown with a white line and red dot on it, orange shoes, and blue jeans. He always kept his hands in his pocket, just like Jughead from Archie comics.

Ace is a secret mascot and cannot be obtained by normal means (e.g., from the Prize Machine). The player must play as Rocky and collect a total of 50 of the burgers that randomly populate the terrain. The player can collect the burgers over multiple runs. The burgers can appear with or without cheese; either variant counts towards the total of 50.
Characteristics
Ace has similar characteristics to all humanoid mascots. Initially, the character was noteworthy because, at the moment of his death, he would double in size and then explode. However, this was a bug and was patched as of the Korean Update. Now when the player dies, Ace's red cap falls off and a ringing noise sounds. If Ace dies in water, his cap will levitate over the spot.
Trivia
- Ace is based off the comic book character Jughead Jones.
- Jughead is Archie's friend in the comics, which is why the player requires Rocky (based on Archie) to unlock him. The method of consuming burgers to unlock him is a reference to Jughead's love for fast food.
