Noise City

Echo Forest, is accessible after obtaining 1 Flag. Ran by Mayor Poonk, The town is split into three different sections, found around the forest. These sections are identified by their different colored roofs; red, aquamarine, and orange. Found on the northern east side will be an abandoned house in which tends to be a great dating spot to some. A notable Frog Ornament Shop can be found that is becoming quite popular as of late when heading to the upper level of Echo Forest.

Notedly, the residents will pick the local plants and mushrooms to make food, though not all of the mushrooms are easily identified, so one must be careful on picking them as they can have negative affects. Some residents will talk about a Legendary Sticker Maker who would be currently away from his job with no one knowing where he is. Apparently, he can duplicate any stickers that is equipped as many times as they want. Finally, there are rumors that if if anyone becomes strong enough, they can obtain the Legendary Engine from Mayor Poonk.

Activities & Races

There are three notable course gates available within Echo Forest. The first one being Jungle Beat, the second is Rainy Mansion, and the third one is Snow Palace Mountain.

  • Jungle Beat: From entering Echo Forest, follow the path eastward until reaching the splitting path by the Frog Ornament Shop. Take the path to the right, taking you to the upper level of Echo Forest. Continue following the path pass the aquamarine roofed houses until you reach the long tunnel to the course gates.
  • Rainy Mansion: Find the river following on the northern side of Echo Forest. Follow the river eastbound until a cavern that leads to to a haunting area of gravestones and darkness.
  • Snow Palace Mountain: From entering Echo Forest, follow the path eastward until reaching the splitting path by the Frog Ornament Shop. Take the path to the right and continue following the path until you reach the ice cave that will lead to the course gates.

Trivia

  • Echo Forest has the least amount of dialogue changes out of all the zones available. It is unknown why majority of the characters do not have any World Grand Prix win dialogue or Meister win dialogue.
  • The few characters that barely have any dialogue are generally involved in the Mushroom Identification Quest, or providing important information in order to access things like the Devil's Tyre, mushroom information, or just how to get the Legendary Engine.
  • Poonk, Macky, Sammy and Kirisa are the only characters with dialogue that changes based on flags. Although, their dialogue only changes to their involvement in the Mushroom Identification Quest (which is not tied to flags) and when the protagonist 30 Flags in which the Legendary Engine becomes available.
  • In other towns, the dialogue typically is different at: 0-4 Flags, 5-14 Flags, 15-24, 25-30 Flags. (Though, some characters follow a different rule of dialogue changes, such as, Noise City starts off at 0-14 Flags because Noise City is not accessible until having 12 Flags.)
  • Strangely, there are no reoccurring characters in Echo Forest, aside from a brief mention that Rinme was from Peach Town, but never appears at all in Choro-Q HG 2. Laz uses the same body as Rinme, but they do not share the same body color.
  • One can also argue that Laz does not, technically, live in Peach Town as she lives rather far away, and counting her windmills will provide Stamp 97 which is purposively a late-game stamp.
  • Some can assume FroKero is Kerori from Choro-Q HG 2 except...it is confirmed that FroKero is a guy, and Kerori is a girl...
