Gooch

Gooch is one of the many roaming Choro-Q found in northern side of Echo Forest. Upon talking to him for the first time, he asks what meter the protagonist is using and will provide the protagonist the Digital Meter, stating that the protagonist may like it.

When talking to him again, he will ask if the protagonist likes the meter he gave them. The protagonist is introduced with four options available. If picking of course, Gooch will state that it was a nice statement, but questions why the protagonist doesn't have it equipped. Though, if the protagonist has the Digital Meter, he'd be pretty happy that the protagonist likes it.

When stating that they did not like it a lot, Gooch explains that he wasn't trying to hurt the protagonist's feelings, but then do a 360 and state, frustratingly, that his feelings were obviously hurt at their response.

If the protagonist states they haven't taken a look at the Digital Meter yet, Gooch will encourage them to go to their Garage and get it equipped to try it out.

Finally, if the protagonist just doesn't remember what Gooch gave them, Gooch would briefly laugh then frustratingly state that he is not going to give the protagonist anything anymore.

Trivia

  • When searching through the game files, Gooch appears to have unused dialogue. Simply, with his unused dialogue, it seems to imply that the dialogue can be possibly tied to some sort of negative option.
"Really? I thought you'd like it."
