Frog is boss enemy found in Breath of Fire. It is the first one which the player encounters.
After being asked by the King of Camlon to rid his castle of monsters, Ryu discovers what appears to be an ordinary frog sitting upon the throne. However, it speaks to him as he approaches, telling Ryu that it has claimed the castle as its own. It grows into a much larger, spiky form as the battle commences.

Frog attacks in a very predictable pattern. The best way to fight him is to stick to a rhythm of your own, Attacking twice followed by the use of a healing item is a good way to keep yourself in the fight.
His Spit attack tends to deal more damage, and may have a higher slam chance, so try to heal after he uses it, if you can. Once he gets his second wind, keep up the pressure.
Frog only has enough AP for a maximum of four Cura spells. Try to hit him hard when his health gets low. If you have any damaging items by chance, use them here.
