Cort is a character that appears in the original Breath of Fire. He is one of the game's supporting antagonists: a general in Zog's army and the chief scientist of the Dark Dragon Clan.
Role in Breath of Fire
He develops a genetically engineered flower whose pollen drives the people of Gust insane whenever the wind blows from his lab north of town. He also develops a shrinking gas to halt the party's progress, and a gas that turns people into monsters.
When confronting Ryu's party, he transforms into a giant Horntoad, but nonetheless meets his demise.
