Camlon is a town in Breath of Fire.
Story
Camlon is a town located between Drogen and Nanai. It has become a lair for monsters since the last time it was inhabited which causes issues for the incoming refugees who have recently escaped Nanai.
After the Dark Dragon Clan takes over Nanai, many of Nanai's citizens flee to the nearby Camlon. However, the refugees soon learn that their new home has been infested by monsters. Not knowing what to do, they seek the aid of Ryu who had just begun his journey. Ryu clears out the castle, driving the monsters out of Camlon. But before anyone can celebrate Camlon is hit by an earthquake, an unprecedented event. Camlon's King tells Ryu of a Quake Machine in Nanai and requests that Ryu stop it. Ryu succeeded in his mission and the villagers of Camlon declare him a hero and decide to rebuild their new home. This makes Camlon the only town in the game to rebuild after it is destroyed.
Later should Ryu return he will find that Camlon has been rebuilt and considers him their hero, going as far as to build a statue in his honour.
