Kevin 11 gives Xingo a power up - setting him loose to wreak havoc on other TV shows - and it is up to Ben to stop them both.[ATV 1]
Plot
Ben clicks through the channels on the television in the Rustbucket, bored waiting on Max to get back from the annual Sample Scramble event at Biggie Box. Gwen sympathizes with him, but points out that Xingo is on. Ben responds by saying he isn't feeling it. Gwen decides to change the channel to Lucky Girl, and Ben and Gwen begin to fight over the remote. Ben transforms into Stinkfly in order to get the remote back. On the television, Lucky Girl and the Omega Lucky Scouts face off against Queen Griefenstein. The screen zooms out to a TV display in Biggie Box, which Kevin walks by. He takes a universal remote and turns to the TV, prompting two moms to remark how nice it is to see a boy in touch with his emotions.
Frustrated by their assumption, Kevin quickly unboxes the remote and changes the channel to Xingo. He watches a gag where Bizmark is crushed by a boulder. Xingo taunts Bizmark, but soon runs into Spleen. She points out to Xingo how poor their rating are, and questions why they aren't cancelled already. Kevin is offended at the idea of them cancelling Xingo but keeping Lucky Girl on the air. He transforms into Bootleg and merges with one of the televisions, giving Xingo the ability to move across the TVs and channels. He escapes to Lucky Girl's show, and after being mistaken as one of Queen Griefenstein's minions, throws a pie in her face. Bootleg reverts back to Kevin, and he laughs at his joke. Back at the Rustbucket, Gwen is chased out by Stinkfly, who reverts back to Ben. He overhears the television, and notices Xingo messing with Lucky Girl and Queen Griefenstein.
Inside Biggie Box, Max explains to Gwen the beauty of the Sample Scramble. Ben runs up to them, explaining that Xingo was somehow on Lucky Girl. Max initially suspects it's just a crossover, but Gwen believes Ben. They soon find Kevin laughing at Xingo's antics on a big screen. He denies his involvement with freeing Xingo, but the cartoon character affirms what he had done. He sends Kevin to deal with Ben, and they transform into Hot Shot and Heatblast respectively. They begin to fight, prompting Xingo to jump over to a televised boxing match. After hitting the boxers with a giant boxing glove, he jumps to "The Un-Alivers" and smooches Sebastian Belmontez. His rampage continues as he replaces the gun of a soldier in the jungle, and he walks into a dramatic scene featuring twoteens arguing if their friend is a "bad dude". Xingo then drops in on the local anchor reporting on the Sample Scramble. Xingo takes the microphone does a weather report, saying it's raining cats and dogs.
Outside Biggie Box, cats and dogs begin to fall from the sky. Gwen realizes what kind of damage Xingo could cause, and she and Max go to stop it. As Xingo chases away people on TV with a wolf, he overhears on another channel that a satellite launch was a success. He tries to jump between TVs, but is stopped by Gwen turning the TV off. He escapes to other televisions, but struggles from Gwen changing the channels. After falling into a pot on a cooking show, he tells Hot Shot to get the remote away from Gwen. Hot Shot transforms into Thornblade and confiscates the remote from her. She tries to retrieve it, but Thornblade crushes the remote. Xingo, meanwhile, makes his way through the channels. He tries cannonballing into a pool, only for the channel to be changed so he lands in mud. A dinosaur scares him off into another TV, which Gwen changes the channel of so he's stuck in space. Ben, having transformed into Slapback, is then flung into the TV, inadvertently changing the channel and freeing Xingo.
He continues his escape, and Gwen tries to stop him, only to be distracted by Max. He points out Ben and Kevin are on the news, and Gwen gets an idea. Xingo, meanwhile, makes it to the satellite, growing huge in reality. He threatens the Earth, but is soon stopped as Gwen changes the channel. He is then struck in the face by Slapback, who attempts to hit Thornblade. Xingo insults Thornbalde for not having defeated Slapback already, calling second-rate. Thornblade then hits Xingo, and he and Slapback get an idea. The two pummel Xingo, sending him back into Lucky Girl's show. She, the Omega Lucky Scouts, and Queen Griefenstein team up to defeat him, leaving Xingo to crawl back to his own show. He happily greets Spleen with a pie, attempting to hit her in the face with it, but she crushes him with a piano first. Ben celebrates their victory, but Kevin tries to take the credit. Ben and Kevin start to butt heads, but Gwen shows them Lucky Girl, who exposits her learned moral. Ben is confused by her moral, but realizes the show isn't bad. Kevin says its boring and leaves, but secretly watches from behind a shelf.
It is revealed that the Tennysons have faced Xingo more times than previously shown on-screen, with one such example involving Xingo's head being embedded into Max's shoulder.
Kevin: What? Cancel? How can they cancel a great show like "Xingo" when garbage like "Lucky Girl" gets 18 seasons, a radio drama, and a supplementary comic tie-in about the Omega Lucky Scouts that showed up after the fourth season finale when... Um, I mean, of course I don't watch a lame show like that. Don't worry, Xingo! I got your back!

“
Kyle: There's no saving me Quinn. I'm just a bad dude. Quinn: No Kyle, we're not giving up on you! Bob: I don't don't know Quinn, he's a pretty bad dude.
(Xingo walks in) Quinn: No Bob. No dude is too bad to save. Xingo: Blah! Why so serious! I hope this gets rebooted.
”
“
Xingo: Kevin! Forget about Ben for a second and just get the remote away from girl Ben already!
”
“
Xingo: What just happened? (Gets punched) Thornblade: Quit dodging! Xingo: Hey! Ow-wow-wow! Watch where you're throwing those punches, kid! Slapback: I punched you? Xingo: And you, Kev-a-lev-a-ding-dong! I thought I told you to nip that kid in the tuchus. Thornblade: Kev-a-what? Slapback:(Laughs) He called you ding-dong. Xingo: I should have known better than to ask a second-rate alien kid to take on the real deal. Thornblade: What? Second-rate? Xingo: Face it, kiddo. You're a bootleg Ben Tennyson, a second-class alien brat living in the shadow of another alien brat. Thornblade: No, I'm not!
In this episode, there is a reference to Ben 10: Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. One of the TV screens plays a show that parodies the aforementioned series, featuring characters that resemble classic Ben, Gwen, and Kevin in their teens under different names and wearing re-colored clothes.
Xingo criticizes the show for being overly serious and hopes it gets rebooted, which is a joke about how Ben 10 got rebooted with a light-hearted tone.
Lucky Girl is stated to have about 18 seasons, this could be a nod to the Classic Continuity having a total of 18 seasons from all4series.
Xingo pokes fun at how long it took for Lucky Girl's wand to charge, a common cliché on most power ups in any media.
Xingo's mask when wielding a wolf as a chainsaw is a reference to Jason Voorhees from the horror franchise Friday the 13th.
When Xingo returns to his world, Gwen quotes the phrase "That's all folks", which is the catchphrase of Porky Pig at the closing scene of a Looney Tunes episode, playing on how Xingo is based on their animation style.
One of the TVs Xingo gets into is a parody of "Jurassic Park", except the T. rex is depicted with exaggerated chicken-like feathers.
Errors
In the end credits, "Queen Griefenstein" is misspelled as "Queen Greifenstein".
This episode chronologically takes place before Roundabout as Kevin is not yet trapped between space and time.[DR 1] This is because new episodes were ordered at the last minute.[DR 2] The extra season 3 episodes were supposed to be spread throughout the season.[DR 3]
Several locations and objects from previous episodes can be seen on the TVs in this episode:
In the original pitch for the episode, Kevin was supposed to be shoplifting with stuff falling out of his jacket every time he moved, but the network decided it was too imitable for young kids, so the joke got cut.[KT 1]
In the original storyboards, Xingo was going to wield a chainsaw to threaten bystanders. However, Broadcast Standards and Practices revised the scene so he would instead use a wolf.[KT 2]
The storyboards for the scene where Xingo met Bob, Quinn and Kyle had to be colored in so that the network would understand the joke and not veto it for using old designs.[KT 3]
This marks the last episode that Ben uses Stinkfly.
