After a battle with Kevin gets cut short, Ben turns his attention to one upping Gwen at Space Camp; Kevin returns with his sights strangely set on his cousin.[ATV 1]

In a watery cave, Ben as Shock Rock dukes it out with Kevin as Quad Smack. Just as Shock Rock is about to punch Quad Smack, he reverts back to human. Quad Smack prepares to clobber him, when suddenly, magical pink tentacles grasp him and pull him deep into the cave. Ben shrugs it off and exits the cave, intending to bug Gwen at the Young Orbiters Space Camp.
Inside the building, Gwen internally narrates her journey through space, until Ben breaks the illusion by shutting down the zero-gravity simulation. Gwen asks where he was, and he explains he was fighting Kevin, not concerned about experiencing the space camp, since he can already turn into aliens. Gwen tries to explain the difference between knowing astrophysics and turning into aliens, but Ben doesn't listen.
Back outside, Quad Smack is pulled into another cave, where he times out and meets Charmcaster. Disappointed he isn't Ben, she explains that she needs his aliens to take down Gwen. Attempting to one-up Ben, Kevin shows her that he has his own watch with 11 aliens. Charmcaster takes him up on his offer, and uses her spellbook to conjure more tentacles, planning to turn him into an "eleven-alien abomination".
At the space camp, Gwen tries to explain the dangers of space travel to Ben, who finds it all uninteresting. She asks why he isn't fighting Kevin, and Ben tells her about the tentacles that had kidnapped him. Gwen puts together that it's the work of Charmcaster, when all of the sudden, Hot Shot, wrapped in tentacles, breaks into the building. Hot Shot tries to attack Ben, but he's stopped by Charmcaster, controlling him from high above. She commands Hot Shot to attack the two, while Ben tries to get the Omnitrix to time back in. Just as he is about to get Ben, Gwen douses him in foam from a fire extinguisher. Annoyed, Charmcaster strengthens Hot Shot, turning his flames purple. Hot Shot tries to fight back against Charmcaster, but she dodges his fireballs. Charmcaster throws a piece of paper from her spellbook at him, making him more obedient.
Hot Shot turns around to fight the cousins, only to get a face full of Stinkfly's goo. Gwen advises Stinkfly to save the attendees of the camp, though nobody listens. Instead, he fumigates the building, forcing everyone out. He then turns his attention towards Charmcaster, who avoids his goo. However, she is knocked down by the giant solar system model. Before it crushes her, she casts a spell, transporting herself, Ben, Gwen and Hot Shot into a space-like dimension. Hot Shot reverts back to Kevin, and demands Charmcaster get someone else to settle her drama. The two begin to argue, and Kevin calls her a "weirdo nerd" prompting Charmcaster to place a piece of paper on him. Kevin then transforms into an amalgamation of all eleven of his aliens.
Ben transforms into Humungousaur, and the two lunge at each other, only to go nowhere because of the zero-gravity. Gwen gives Humungousaur a boost, and the two begin spiraling. Gwen jumps on the two to get to Charmcaster, and she grabs her spellbook. She accidentally drops it, and asks for Humungousaur for a boost back. He throws her towards the book, and she grabs it before Charmcaster can. She purposley tosses it to Humungousaur and Kevin, and the former redirects the latter's fire breath at the book, destroying it. With it destroyed, Kevin returns to normal. Charmcaster creates a portal and escapes, as the dimension begins to send the three towards Earth. Humungousaur grabs onto Gwen and Kevin, and the three emerge from an orb in the camp. They crash through the entrance and land in the parking lot, and, after reverting from Humungousaur, Ben celebrates. Annoyed, Kevin leaves, and Ben admits to Gwen that he could learn to plan ahead. Gwen asks him how he'll plan to fight Kevin next time they meet, and Ben responds that he'll just kick Kevin's butt twice as hard. Gwen groans, with Ben having learned nothing.
Gwen: You and your aliens don't know anything about space travel. Ben: (gasps; to Omnitrix) It's okay guys, she just can't understand an aliens' natural instincts!

Charmcaster: I need his ten aliens to help me take down that pesky cousin of his. So if you don't have one of those transforming watches, then I have no use for you. Kevin: Hey, I have an alien watch, and it goes up to eleven! It's way better than that loser's! Charmcaster: (sinister) Oh, an eleven alien abomination does sound better!

Charmcaster: You're awfully disrespectful for someone under my complete control! Kevin: (groans) I'm not afraid of you! You're just some weirdo nerd! Charmcaster: You think you're so special?! Well, you're not. Without that watch, you're worthless, so quit whining and GIVE ME YOUR POWER!
The fight taking place in space provided numerous challenges while storyboarding, namely characters only being able to move if they were propelled by something else, and the lack of landmarks meant only the characters could communicate the depth of field.[KT 3]
In the storyboards, Gwen's hair is in a bun. This was done so they wouldn't have to worry about her hair in zero gravity, but at some point in production they decided it didn't matter.
