Earth-D

Earth-D was one of the many universes in the multiverse. The universe was destroyed during the Anti-Monitor Crisis.

History

In 2019, when Outkast released a wave of shadow demons on this universe's Earth, the Justice Alliance fought them with the help from heroes from other universes. But despite their effort, Wally West died from Outkast's antimatter blast, while Moscow, Russia and Earth, along with the rest of the universe, was later wiped out by a wave of antimatter.[1]

Behind the scenes

  • Earth-D and its heroes are based on the same Earth and characters that appeared in the 1999 one shot comic Legends of the DC Universe: Crisis on Infinite Earths. The story took place within the original Crisis on Infinite Earths maxiseries and is based on Marv Wolfman's idea to make the DC Universe heroes more culturally diverse.[2]
