Overview

One of the higher ranks in the Nekokami Clan, Hayaka spawns ice shards to deal piercing damage to enemies, while summoning tornados to blow them back. A master mage of cryology AND anemology.

Hayaka is a ranged Guardian tower purchased in the Special Shop for 3,500. She was released alongside the Winter Event 2021 as a member of the Nekokami Clan.

Her method of attack consists of firing numerous projectiles which increase in number as she levels, allowing her to hit more targets a time. Additionally, she can provide offensive support by blowing back and freezing enemies in later levels.

Lastly, she unlocks the ability "Embrittlement" at level 7, which freezes the strongest void on the board, making them take 3x more damage from all sources. However, at level 15 this is changed to affect every enemy on the board. Overall, she is a very efficient tower.

Hayaka freezes the strongest Void on the board for a short time and makes them take extra damage from all attacks permanently. Affects all Voids on the board at max level.

Profile Card

Obtaining 30 Friendship Points with her will allow you to gain the Wintertide Profile Card. The card shows a sleeping fox in the winter. Friendship points can be obtained by playing a game with Hayaka on the board and triumphing the match. Amongst all the friendships related profile card, this is the hardest to get as it requires the most friendships at 30.

Trivia

Hayaka is the 2nd tower in the game to have an attack that inflicts knockback, Cassy being the first.
Hayaka is the first tower to have a release skin.
- They also are the first tower to release along with an Event.
Inferring from the 2021/2022 New Years Mail, Mayla appears to dislike Hayaka, and her clan all together.
There is a statue of Hayaka in the City map.
- This statue was added before Hayaka was released to the game.
Hayaka's Void Ice skin is the only skin to use the same upgrade logos as the default skin.
Hayaka was originally meant to be an ice cat skin, but the developers decided that it would be better suited as a tower itself.

Tactics

Embrittlement cannot freeze Massive Voids or Void Lords, but it can still apply its debuff to them.
Hayaka is a really strong powerhouse in the late game when she can constantly applies slow and knockback to enemies.
Due to Embrittlement giving additive bonus damage per hit, towers with high fire rates like Sergeant and Gunner are recommended.
Keep in mind that when Hayaka shoots, she shoots out multiple shards, allowing her to deal thousands of damage if multiple shards hit.
Due to her shards being able to pierce through multiple enemies, placing her near straight lines can allow her to fully maximize her pierce and damage output.
- This is especially useful early game to prevent losing lives or worse, losing the game.
- A secret profile card can be obtained by winning 30 matches with Hayaka.

- Level 15 Hayaka attack speed increased (0.2s > 0.15s)
- Level 6 Hayaka now freezes nearby enemies every 5th shot for 1 second.
