Void Lords

Void Lords are unique enemies in which they exclusively appear during Endless and Grandmaster, and prove to be among the strongest voids. Each Void Lord possesses unique assets in relation to the tribe that they represent:

  • The Amethyst Void Lord focuses on a more tank-based approach, punishing players that heavily rely on support towers.
  • The Ruby Void Lord focuses on disabling towers and brute forcing through defenses whilst also punishing heavy reliance on Ruby towers.
  • The Hybrid utilizes a coalescence of these techniques, forcing defenses to display a masterful aptitude of game mechanics and strategy. It poses the greatest threat out of the Void Lords and can prove to be a match-closer to most players.

AMETHYST VOID LORD

The Amethyst Void Lord makes is the first Void Lord to appear regardless of gamemode, appearing on Wave 100 and 60 on Endless and Grandmaster respectively. If there are any support towers on the board, she will heal herself. The amount of healing she receives corresponds to how many support towers are on the map, which can be up to 15% of her maximum health.

Support towers include Beacon, Level 1+ Alien, Farm, Level 5+ Mayla, Level 8+ Ruby Queen, and all towers that actively have Alien's potion buffs.

RUBY VOID LORD

The Ruby Void Lord makes her first appearance on Wave 125 (Wave 80 on Grandmaster). At 20 second intervals, if there is a Level 8+ Ruby Queen on the board, all Ruby Tribe towers will become inactive for three seconds. This effect can be countered by using a Level 6 Swordswoman, which nullifies the ability entirely.

At 25 second intervals, if there are more than 35 Ruby Tribe towers on the board, all summoned enemies will become immune to such towers' abilities for four seconds. This can be countered by using Fire Mage's 'Ruby Cripple' ability.

HYBRID VOID LORD

The Hybrid Void Lord is the final and strongest Void Lord, appearing at Wave 150 (Wave 100 on Grandmaster). As her name suggests, she is the titular zenith and hybrid of previous Void Lords, possessing their abilities alongside a greater health pool. This can prove to be fatal, as she only gets stronger as time passes.
