Alien (Xndra)

Alien is an Amethyst support tower that can throw blessing potions to other towers which grant multiplicative damage and range buffs. The period that these buffs last corresponds to the tower's attack. At later levels, she is capable of removing properties such as lead and fire immunity from enemies.

Not much is known about her background, except that she was a creation of a failed science experiment, with two children being the test subjects. It is also known that She was not human before this experiment. ^{[1] [2]}

At master level, her buffs will last a set duration instead as opposed to depending on the tower. Additionally, attack speed buffs will affect how often she throws blessing potions.

Tactics

• Do not use Alien to buff high fire rate towers as the buff given will not last long.
  • However, Alien's level 6 pairs well with level 5 Gunners as it always lasts 4 seconds and is a popular strategy in the Inferno Crusaders badge.
• A good strategy to afford the level 6 is to try using Mayla so she can lower the price of level 6 upgrade.
• You can spam level 5 aliens to almost permanently buff towers, especially on towers that doesn't have very fast fire rate like level 10+ Theresa or Technician with her drone swarm.

Trivia

• The Alien, in terms of mechanics, is similar to the Alchemist from Bloons TD 6.
• It is impossible for aliens to buff each other
• In early trello screenshots, Alien was called the scientist. ^[3]
• Before the May 28 2022 update, the potions from Alien used to add damage instead of multiply,
  • After this update, the Level 6 Master upgrade no longer permanently grants buffs.
• An alien is a living organism which/who is in a different region they're from.
  • Contract to the popular beliefs, aliens don't always have to be an outer space living creatures. Foreigners are also technically considered as aliens but calling them alien would be rude so the word "alien" is mainly used on outer space creatures instead.
