Haunt is an ability in Among Us, usable only by ghosts. It was introduced in version 2022.12.8.
Usage
Haunt is automatically given to ghosts upon death. If the player is instead a Guardian Angel, they are only given the ability to Protect with no ability to Haunt.
Haunt allows players to spectate any other player, including other ghosts. The Haunter automatically tracks the Hauntee's movements, meaning the Haunter can no longer move on their own while Haunting. When using the Haunt ability, a menu pop up appears on the bottom right. The menu features two buttons: one button Haunts living players, and the other button Haunts dead players. The bottom portion of the menu tells the player which player they are currently Haunting, as well as their role. Arrows on the bottom left and bottom right corners of the menu allow the player to Haunt other players.
In Hide n Seek, an extra button is added to the Haunt menu, which allows players to Haunt the Seeker.
