WEEK END LOL is the repackaged version of Weki Meki's single album LOCK END LOL. With the addition of the title track Tiki-Taka (99%), the album has a total of 4 songs. It was released online on August 8, 2019, and is considered a gift to fans for the group's second debut anniversary. Physical version of the album was released on August 14, 2019.
Background
Fantagio announced that Weki Meki is having a comeback with a repackaged album on August 4, 2019.[1] On August 5, the pre-orders for the album were opened and it was revealed that the title track is called "Tiki-Taka (99%)".[2] Two sets of concept photos were released for the album: WEEKEND[3][4][5] and LOL[6][7][8][9].
Release
The album was released digitally on August 8. On the same day, the music video spoiler film was released[10] and the content of the physical album was revealed.[11]
On August 12, the teaser for Tiki-Taka (99%) music video was released.[12] Finally, the music video was released alongside the physical version of the album on August 14.
The group promoted the title track on music shows, starting with Music Bank on August 16.
