Kim Sookyung (김수경), better known by her stage name Lua (루아), is a singer, formerly under Fantagio. She was a main dancer, lead rapper and vocalist for the girl group Weki Meki before their disbandment on August 8, 2024.
She was born on October 6, 2000 in Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea.
History
Early life
Lua's family consists of her parents and her brother. Since she was five years old, she trained ballet, belly dance and rhythmic gymnastics.
Education
She graduated from Lila Art High School (Department of Digital Sound Contents).
Trainee Days
Lua performed at the Lotte World Fresh Concert with the rest of i-Teen Girls on December 28, 2014.[1]
Career
Lua was revealed by Fantagio as the third member of Weki Meki. The group debut with the first mini-album WEME.
In 2022, Lua made her debut as an actress in the play "Almost, Maine".[2]
