Lucky

Lucky is the second mini album by the South Korean girl group Weki Meki. It was released on February 21, 2018 with "La La La" serving as its title track.

Background and Release

On January 4, 2018, Fantagio revealed that the group's comeback was being delayed indefinitely due to company's internal affairs.[1] On February 1, 2018, during a press conference for their series "Weki Meki, What's Up?", the group confirmed their comeback is coming in late February.[2]

On February 6, 2018, Fantagio posted a release schedule for Weki Meki's second mini album.[3] It was announced that the physical album comes in 3 versions: Weki, Meki and Lucky. The company posted four image teasers in the following days.[4][5][6][7] On February 12, the tracklist was revealed[8], followed by the highlight medley on February 13.[9]

Music video teaser, which was actually a music video for the teaser track "Lucky", was released on February 19.[10]

Finally, the album, alongside the music video for the title track "La La La" was released on February 21, 2018.

Weki Meki held a live album showcase on the day of the release.[11] The group opened the showcase with the performance of their new song "Iron Boy", followed by their previous track "I Don't Like Your Girlfriend". The group first performed several songs from their debut album, and ended the showcase with a performance of Lucky and La La La.

The group performed both the teaser track and the title track during music show promotions. Promotions started on M Countdown on February 22, 2018.
