The SPz BMP-2 is the East German version of the Soviet BMP-2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle that introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle.
History
NVA only got 24 BMP-2 in 1986 to 1987 before reunification. The 1st Company, 1st Battalion and 4th Company, 2nd Battalion from 9th Motorized Schützenregiment “Rudolf Renner” had 10 BMP-2s respectively. The remaining 4 were used for training and technical demonstrations.
Overview
Notice that the SPz BMP-2 lost its ATGM in Red Dragon, while the new introduced SPz BMP-2/c became the equivalent of Soviet BMP-2.
