Available to PACT forces, the KHS Mi-8TBK is an East German gunship helicopter. In Wargame: Red Dragon, KHS Mi-8TBK was renamed to KHS Mi-8TB. In ALB, there will be a difference between "transport" Mi-24 (A, D & P variants) and the more heavily armed but gunship-only Mi-24 (V & VP). In DDR's case, it has got all the transport variants (we know, not the A in reality) but none of the gunship. Instead, DDR will rely on the TVK for a gunship.^[1]

History

Mi-8TBK was a version designed as a attack helicopter. A NSVT was mounted on a flex mount on the nose along with wing mounts for Rocket Pods, ATGM and bombs.

Kampfhubschraubergeschwader 3 (KHG-3) and Kampfhubschraubergeschwader 5 has their 2. Hubschrauberstaffel equipped with 16 Mi-8TB. These Helicopter were Militärbezirk III and Militärbezirk V assets.
