QW-1

The QW-1 (Chinese: 前卫-1, meaning "Vanguard") is a prototype Chinese Anti-Aircraft Team that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.

History

The QW-1 was a MANPADs system meant to be the successor to the HN-5. The weapon was first made public at the International Aerospace Exhibition held in Van Burrow, UK in 1994.

Overview

As a 20-point MANPAD, QW-1 is sufficient to pose a threat to airplanes: Compared to the Stinger, QW-1 has a longer range and slightly higher accuracy; Compared to Igla, QW-1 has 5 HE Power.

Having said that, due to the fact that Red Dragons itself has a good number and quality of air defense units, QW-1 is not necessary for regular decks, but it is a very important unit for motorized.
