Reve is a minor antagonist of the manga and anime series Black Clover. She is an elf that was reincarnated into Dorothy Unsworth the captain of the Coral Peacock captain's body and also one of the Apostles of Sephirah elf.
Personality
Reve has cold and stern personality. She tends to calmly deals with her human opponents whom she views as inferior than her in terms of magic powers since very much like her other fellow elves. When her humans have shown to rival her capacities and also those who may possesse the same magic as her being dream magic, she displays an irritated nature.
This was shown when the host of her body Dorothy Unsworth came to face her in her dream world as she challenges her in a battle between dream magic users. Furthermore like others of her species, she has a amount of confidence in her own magic powers that would lead again to anger her when learning that they have a larger mana powers in constrats of hers after misjudging a few members of the Black Bulls who have managed to spot her weakness via her magic.
Biography
During sometimes, over centuries ago, Reve and others of her kind were massacred by the humans during the wedding of their leader Licht and his bride Tetia.
In the present, she was reincarnated into Dorothy Unsworth, the captain of the Coral Peacock's body that was resulted when Patolli activated the magic stone in the sephirot. Alongside the other elves of the Apostles of Sephirah, they cast a spell to make for portals that comes from the underworld. Reve then imprison a few members of the Black Bull after their base had defeated a few of their allies into the Dream world. In the dimension, she attacks the magic knights with various elements such as vines and creatures.
Thanks to a spell of Vanessa Enoteca: Red Threat of Fate warned them about the dangers of the elf's power. Reve then displays her powers when Manga Swing and Luck Voltia attacks her with their magic only to have no effect and be sent back with other elemental attacks. The magic knights starts panicking when seeing their attacks had no results against the elf and who are being sent with this time a wave of large amounts of water-based attacks along with birds flying towards them. Sally tells Luck and Magna to attack the giant wave of water, knowing that his lightning magic may cause the water to explode.
With the explosive result of the combination of their magics, they are shocked to see that Reve is still intact by protecting her against the explosion. The magic knights starts entering in a sleepy state, in which Reve states that those trapped in the Glamour can die if they let them self to fall asleep. Sally soon manages to spot the disadvantage of Reve's magic to her victims being in which she was able to make a pair of glasses appear in front of her after imagining one. She soon after exploits this weakness by calling upon numerous exits to be summoned.
Luck rushes to one of the exit but gets the exit gets restrained by chains summoned by Reve. This time, Luck sugggets an idea to do the opposite of Sally's method. Magna sends his fire attacks at Reve who blocks them before getting covered in smoke and peacefully tells them that it is no use trying to hide from her in the dream world. She is then suprised by a a blurry figure of her host. Which caused her real host, Dorothy to appear into the dream world.
Appearing, the captain of the Coral Peacock invites Reve in a clash against each other of the same magic which irritates the elf. The dimension soon after collapse after not being able to hold the two dream magic users' spell, freeing everyone outside as a result. Outside, with the momentary timelapse, Luck and Magna takes the opportunity to send an attack to Reve knocking her out. After all the elves were defeated, Licht and William Vangeance connects all the elves to a tall tree that gets sent by Asta with his anti-magic.
