The Miner 49er is the main antagonist in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode, "Mine Your Own Business". It is a persona adopted by Hank to get oil land cheap, which would later become its own character in various subsequent adaptations.
He was voiced by the late Casey Kasem.

He was the disguise of a caretaker named Hank, who was trying to scare everyone away from the mines where he found an oil reserve.
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
In various episodes of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, The Miner 49er's costume is presented by Velma in the Crystal Cove monster museum along with the Ghost of Captain Cutler, Space Kook, and Charlie the Haunted Robot.
Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon
His most recent appearance in the Scooby-Doo franchise was during the opening credits of the 2013 film, Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon, where he chased Scooby and his friends along with the Ghost of Redbeard, Ghost Clown, Black Knight Ghost and the Space Kook.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?
He appeared in the episode, "One Minute Mysteries!" as Shaggy and Scooby tries to lure him with a cart full of gold nuggets. When the brakes fail and Shaggy and Scooby are about to fly right into Fred's trap, until they were saved by the Flash and brought the Miner to the trap.
Live-Action
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed
The Miner 49er appeared as a supporting antagonist in the 2004 live action movie, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. He is first seen as a costume in the museum. He is later seen at the monster hive and Shaggy and Scooby-Doo accidentally transformed him into a real monster using carbon composition and Randemonium, along with the Ghost of Captain Cutler, Tar Monster and the Zombie.
He breathed fire and was outsmarted by Shaggy and Scooby-Doo using Scooby's gas to repel his flames scaping from his mouth. He was eventually returned to fabric form by Scooby Doo at the end of the movie. He is portrayed by C. Ernst Harth.
