Kled, also known as The Cantankerous Cavalier, is a villainous playable character in the multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends. A cranky yet fearless Noxian yordle, Kled rides into battle on his cowardly lizard Skaarl, hoping to protect his territory and take whatever he can find for himself.
The 132nd champion added to the game, Kled was released on August 10, 2016, and is most commonly played in the top lane.
He is voiced by Spike Spencer, who also voiced Rolo Lamperouge in Code Geass, Snake in Black Butler, Arakune in BlazBlue, Di Roy Rinker in Bleach, and Ebony Devil in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.

Lore
Since the earliest days of Noxus, legends have been told of a tiny, cranky folk hero known as the Great Hussar, High General Marshal-Sergeant, and Mountain Admiral who has fought in every military conflict and achieved every possible military rank. While these tales are often contradictory or too outlandish to be considered as true, most Noxian soldiers are familiar with the tales of Kled and his untrusty steed, Skaarl, epitomizing the warrior's fearlessness as the pinnacle of Noxian virtues.
Hailing from the magical yordle hometown of Bandle City, Kled migrated to what would become Noxus in hopes of finding danger and adventure, joining the Noxii tribes as they emerged from the ruined wastes of the Rune Wars. Kled loved his new home and never turned back to Bandle City, and became proud to call himself a Noxian.
First Battle of Drugne
In historical records, the earliest known mention of Kled was at the First Battle of Drugne, an isolated town in the Northern Steppes, where the cowardly General Zavaan had called a retreat from a horde of barbarians. Zavaan, whose armor was shiny and untouched by enemy barbarians, didn't care about his soldiers well-being nor did he have a plan for escape, becoming most concerned for his own protection and safety, which took a large toll on his troops' morale.
However, when things were at their most dire, Kled and his desert drakalops appeared over the hilltops, screaming at the barbarians to get off his land before angrily charging into battle. Unsure of what to do, the Noxian warhost ignored their general and charged alongside the yordle, reinvigorated by his courage. The battle was one of the bloodiest in Noxian history, but Kled's unstoppable fury and determination even in the face of certain death was enough to motivate the warhost to make their last stand. Eventually, Kled's maniacal chopping was enough to cause the barbarians to flee, which was something none of the Noxians expected.
Aftermath
Though the 'victory' was much too costly to have been considered a smart move, the battle kept the Noxians in the fight for long enough that reinforcements were sent from the capital, and after many more decades Drugne was won and added to the territories of Noxus, while Zavaan, the fine general of pristine armor, was never found again and presumed dead.
Over the centuries, similar stories of the Cantankerous Cavalier have been told from other warhosts across the empire. Appearing wherever he sees fit, Kled is always ready to charge into battle and claim the spoils of war, and each time he does new signs appear marking the "Property of Kled".
Gameplay
In game, Kled is a diver-type champion, recklessly charging into battle to fight high-priority targets at a close range. Kled's passive is his untrusty steed, Skaarl the Cowardly Lizard, who has her own health bar and runs away once it depletes, and only returns as Kled builds up his courage meter in combat. As a result, Kled has two forms: one with Skaarl and one without, and each form has different abilities.
In his mounted form, Kled can use Bear Trap On A Rope to damage and yank his enemies towards him, but when dismounted this ability is replace by Pocket Pistol, which Kled can use to shoot enemies and knock himself back. Kled also has the ability Violent Tendencies, which gives him bonus attack speed for his next 4 attacks for a limited time. While riding on Skaarl, he can use Jousting to dash and strike enemies, and recast if they hit an enemy champion. Kled's ultimate, Chaaaaaaaarge!!!, has him and Skaarl charge to a location, which can only be stopped if Skaarl's health depletes and she runs away.

Kled is a stereotypical hillbilly, with a distaste for "city folk" and a fierce sense of independence from society. Paranoid and territorial, Kled views all of Noxus as his property, and will gladly kill anyone he views as a trespasser. Though Kled doesn't answer to Noxus Prime, he has fought alongside and inspired Noxian forces with his fearless and violent attitude for many centuries, and has been decorated with many honors. Because of his military titles (which may or may not be made up), Kled takes pride in his accomplishments and uses them as a means to prove his superiority over others.
Kled is very unfriendly, cursing often and is prone to violent outbursts and shouting. Kled shows a greedy side with his insistence on claiming land, and often places signs marking "Property of Kled" whenever he thinks something is his. Because of his short temper, he constantly berates his drakalops steed, Skaarl, for her cowardly and unreliable nature. However, Kled does have a soft spot for his untrusty steed, as seen from his teaser, and is overjoyed whenever she returns to help him in battle. Because of his chaotic nature, many other characters often wonder if Kled is mentally-unstable, with Yone asking "Who hurt you?" to the yordle, though this is mostly played for laughs.
