Biography
Before 20 BBY, Gilas was apart of a Trandoshan hunting guild which hunted animals or people for sport. His job for the guild was to pilot a hover pod to different islands for the Trandoshans to kill the contestants.
In 20 BBY, Garnac dispatched a group of five contestants onto the planet Wasskah for the guild to hunt, one being a Jedi Padawan named Ahsoka Tano. While Ahsoka and two other contestants escaped death, Ahsoka then met up with a group of lost Jedi younglings who were dispatched on the island prior to 20 BBY.
Later the next day when the sun rose up, Garnac then proclaimed that a new day has begun, and all the Trandoshans cheered and walked out of the base to kill some more contestants. However, Gilas didn't partake in the hunt and stayed at the Trandoshan base. Two days later, Gilas is seen watching guard on a hover pod by the wreckage of the Trandoshan ship as Clutch's body is seen being carried by Ratter and Krix.
Later that day, Ahsoka then uses Smug as a hostage and overtakes a hover pod and flies it up to the Trandoshan base. This then caused a small battle to happen above Island Four of Wasskah. Gilas tried to shoot Ahsoka and Jinx, but Ahsoka force-pushed Gilas' gun away and pinned him to the ground. When he got back up, he tried to kill Tarfful with his own hands, but was pushed to the ground by the general and had his head stomped on him, killing him instantly.
