Overview |
Pakkya (パッキァ Pakkia?) is a human from The Titan's Crown.
Appearance
Pakkya is a tall, young looking man with brown skin, sharp eyes, short spiky red-green hair, sharp teeth and prominent muscles that show off his strong physique. He also has a scar on his forehead and a few scars around his body. He has a medium length fur skirt around his waist that appears to be tied on with a rope.
Personality
Pakkya is a hot-headed and impatient individual; He immediately grabs Zaybi after hearing Zaybi doesn't have a specific plan to turn natural enemies against each other. After learning the titans are coming, he also demands to face them head-on right after. Later, he rushes out to battle Demons immediately after learning of their arrival. Pakkya seems to have quite an appetite judging from his dream about getting lots of food.
Despite his primal nature, Pakkya is surprisingly smart and has heightened battle senses. When carrying Hallow to escape from Kiva, Pakkya runs away from castle to Hallow's surprise to lure them towards their direction. During the run afterwards on Bastz's vehicle, Pakkya quickly reacts to prevent it from being turned over after Kiva falls on top before promptly kicking him out.
Plot
Background
Three years prior to the series' events, Pakkya fought a titan and was thoroughly defeated.[1]
Introduction Arc
Pakkya is seen alongside Samone, Braginte and humans from other worlds during the meeting. He argues that the titans are the strongest natural enemy and doesn't believe Hallow's plan to turn against them can work. He gets angry and grabs Zaybi after knowing Zaybi doesn't have a detailed plan and has to be calmed down by Hallow and Samone. While Keila explains she and Hallow managed to pit two natural enemies together, Pakkya comments it was pure luck before Samone punches him. She punches him again after he says Hallow's plan will not work on the Titans.[2]
Titans vs The Neo-Humans Arc
The day after, he is dragged to an emergency meeting to discuss strategies to stop the titans. He is shocked to see his natural enemy is coming toward the fortress, and then he suggests directly facing them but his suggestion gets turned down by Glasp.[3]
Demons vs Aliens Arc
While Hallow is about to fight the demon army, Pakkya rushes into the battle to assist him, but he also headbutts Hallow and scolds him that he also lost Braginte so he should not throw his life away because that is betraying those ones who died. They are interrupted by demons which they kill instantly.[4]
Pakkya rushes to Hallow again to carry him outside the battlefield so he can lure Kiva, however, they are hit by Kiva's remote attack. [5] An exhausted Pakkya is being carried by Hallow to recover but one of the demons incriminate the hero to the Madalans. Luckily however, they are saved by one of Keila's platoon members shooting at the alien. This makes the situation worse however, since the Aliens target every human in the fortress. He asks Pakkya to wait for his signal to attack, but when the gives the signal, a recovered Kiva hits the alien instead. Hallow and Pakkya keep spectating the fight between demons and aliens while three of Jachi's combat executives arrive to the battlefield.[6]
After the humans teleport away, Pakkya talks to Hallow about the situation before noticing and saving Bastz from the demons. After another conversation, the three hop on Bastz's vehicle to run away. Much to his dismay, he kicks out the demons that block the way at Bastz's request. Suddenly, the vehicle seems to be capsized, but Pakkya quickly gets in front to flip it back. Seeing Kiva try to muster remaining strength to kill Hallow, Pakkya quickly kicks him out and the vehicle runs again.[7] Just as Pakkya gets to relax, the vehicle runs out of fuel and the group runs on foot after noticing the Kaiju turning towards their direction.[8]
Demon Lord Arc
Pakkya, Hallow, Bastz and Panepane have been able to shake off Daikokuzan and end up in a massive forest. They have stopped to rest and eat campfire-roasted insects. As Hallow wonders where Zaybi and the others have ended up, Bastz suggests that they could very well be on the other side of the world. This confuses Pakkya because he doesn't understand that their planet is circular. Panepane asks Hallow if they could look for other heroes and he likes the idea as they need even a minimal fighting force. Pakkya brings up that in his world they have one really powerful guy named Gigatila that they could look for and Hallow agrees.[9]
The group witnesses the forest animals feast on other natural enemies when Bastz compliments the blossoming life of the forest, which annoys Pakkya. Suddenly, they notice a gigantic creature approaching. Luckily, a boy signals them to jump inside a tunnel, where they then make their way to the boy's place.
As Shirokaki returns from foraging, Pakkya and Hallow talk to him when Bastz notices reaction of a parasite and decides to inject the Curse into Shirokaki while warning Pakkya to stay away.[10]
The group then gets kicked out of the settlement as Shirokaki is angry at Nukizumi, but this is actually a plan to allow Nukizumi to explore that was discussed beforehand. The group then rides on Chicchi to escape the forest, and once they are safe from danger, Pakkya notices his home, the Spiral Mountain. Pakkya warns others of Gori, one of Ginbak's son, who has recently claimed the area.[11]
