Confronting the Titans (
Summary
While Shoks grieves Korbo's death, Ario calms down and reminds himself of the plan before announcing the group's surrender to the titans and asks them to spare their lives. The titans mock the idea while Ario signals Riam to use her Mind-Calming Magic: Magic Therapy.
Shigeru then speaks up, promises the titans abundant resources and claims their deaths only bring harm to both sides. As he recalls his expertise and continues talking, a titan kills Shoks and remarks that he tastes bad while feasting on him.
Ario yells at the titan to stop but the titan instead swings his club at Riam. Braginte blocks the hit and reminds Riam to use her magic, to which Riam mutters she has been using it at full power since the start but the titans are just naturally violent.
Shigeru tries to convince the titans one last time but ends up getting killed. Jupit is convinced there's no talking possible and tries to engage the titans in battle with his Cosmic Ring to call a laser strike. However, it barely has any effect and a titan jumps to clap and kill him instantly.
Braginte then suggests giving the titans some fun to get them interested. He then takes pills made from the hearts of titans to become stronger (physically) and provoke the titans. As the battle progresses, Ario is surprised that Braginte can survive before realizing that he is just a plaything for the titans when the titans brutally kill him.
To Ario's surprise, the titans now want to follow for some extra fun. When they finally reach Neo-Humans's area, the titans express their joy to cause more destruction. The titan wants to kill Riam and Ario now that they have done the job, but they avoid in time thanks to Riam's Feather Boots magic.
When the titans give chase, Riam uses Adorning Magic: Decoration to disguise them as Neo-Humans and blend in the crowd. Ario warns Riam to be careful while he tries to figure out Neo-Humans' characteristics. The titans finally begin their attack while the Neo-Humans remain emotionless and Ario hopes both sides devastate each other.
