Sun was launched as a limited character during . He was also the tenth limited character in Subway Surfers, and the eighth limited character in the World Tour series. He can be purchased with 100,000, just like any other limited character. Both his first outfit, the Spot Outfit and second outfit, the Rogue Outfit can be bought for 75, respectively.

Sun is a Chinese teenage boy from . He has his brown hair styled in an unusual way, with gold rods that arch upward. He wears light white makeup on his face and magenta circles around his eyes. He wears a red, yellow and black outfit completed with dark black boots and a green belt.
Spot Outfit
In , he received the Spot Outfit, which costs 30. There, he looks like a monk, where he shaved his head, with two lighter spots on it, his shirt changes into a red monk outfit, his boots are switched with stockings and sandals, and his scarf is changed into a necklace. Also, instead of a green sash he now wears a black belt.
Rogue Outfit
In , he received the Rogue Outfit, which costs 30. In this outfit, he has black hair styled in a way similar to his original outfit, he gets a blue jacket with a torn sleeve, a red glove on his right arm, a robotic arm for his left arm, yellow pants, and dark purple shoes. He also wears a mask.
Trivia
- Sun is a direct reference to Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. His name is also a reference to Sun Yat-sen, who was known as a political figure in history. From the other side in the Chinese version, there's surfer called Wukong and like Sun, he is a direct reference to Monkey King.
- In the other SYBO run game, Blades Of Brim, there's character called Wukong and he is also a direct reference to Monkey King.
