The Guard's Dog, officially The Dog, or simply Dog, is the secondary antagonist of Subway Surfers. It is a dog that belongs to the Guard. It is the first non-human NPC in the game.

Just like the Guard, its appearance also changes according to the edition. For example: during , it has the appearance of a living dog skeleton and during the , it was dressed up as a reindeer.

Appearance

The Dog appears to be an all white bull terrier with a red spiked collar, brown feet, dark brown eyes, and a permanently angry expression.

Trivia

It is possible for the the Guard and his dog to be hit by a train. After bumping into an obstacle, run into a speeding train and it will collide with it.
- Sometimes, it will run in place due to an animation bug.
It is a bull terrier in most editions, but it appears to be a German Shepherd in the and editions.
- It also appears to be mentioned as a Pitbull (which is a breed of canine/dog) in the Subway Surfers description.
In , the dog and the Guard became robots.
It is the fourth character with an unknown gender.
It is unknown what its name is, hence it is referred as The Inspector's Dog, The Dog, or just Dog.
If the player were to bump into obstacles (such as trains, bushes, etc.), it will bark at the surfer that it is pursuing.
In the very early version of the game not released to the public, there were three dogs.
In , the dog has a promo image of it breaking a TV. This was planned for a no ads promo, however, it was not used until , where the promo finally debuted with 5 ad tickets, 20 hoverboards and 15 keys.
There was a bug where the dog sometimes disappeared after a run, leaving only the guard to chase the surfer, however by , it was fixed.
