The following events took place in or around the year 9 ABY, also known as 3286 LY according to the Lothal Calendar[11] and year 7986 in the C.R.C. calendar.[10]
Events
- The galactic recession is underway.[8]
- Piracy becomes an increasing issue along remote hyperspace routes.[14] (Approximate date)[15]
- Din Djarin finds Grogu on Arvala-7[8] and escapes Nevarro with the child, beginning a life-changing journey for both.[16]
- Lured to the space station by Djarin, New Republic X-wing starfighters[17] destroy the Roost station[18] used as a base by Ranzar Malk and his mercenaries.[17]
- Ahsoka Tano corners Morgan Elsbeth on Corvus and demands the location of Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn."[19]
- Luke Skywalker builds a Jedi Temple on Ossus and trains Grogu in the ways of the Force before Grogu returns to Din Djarin.[3]
- Boba Fett goes to war with the Pyke Syndicate and triumphs.[3]
- Hunters of the Outer Rim makes its official HoloNet debut. Aran Tal joins the competition.[9]
- Rieve joins the Hunters of the Outer Rim.[20] (Approximate date)[21]
- The Mandalorians reclaim their ancient homeworld of Mandalore and reignite the Great Forge.[22][1]
- Din Djarin officially adopts Grogu as his son and apprentice.[22][1]
- T'onga's crew is hired by the Black Sun syndicate to capture Stolak Vandello. (Approximate date)[23][24]
- Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano resume their search for Ezra Bridger[25] and find him on the extragalactic planet Peridea. Called to Peridea by Thrawn's allies the Great Mothers, Morgan Elsbeth's forces find Thrawn and his Imperial remnant.[13][6]
- Thrawn successfully escapes Peridea and returns with his Imperial remnant to the main galaxy. He leaves Sabine and Ahsoka trapped on the planet; Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati also remain on Peridea.[5][6]
- Following his return to the galaxy, Thrawn begins a campaign against the New Republic.[26]
- Ezra Bridger returns home and reunites with Hera Syndulla.[5][6]
- Silvo's pirates attempt to raid and plunder but find slim pickings over the course of several cycles. Upon discovering a single credit as their reward after a bloody raid, Silvo's crew mutiny and overthrow their captain,[14] installing Brutus as their new leader.[27] (Approximate date)[15]
- Children Wim, Neel, KB, and Fern from[14] the lost planet[27] At Attin find themselves thrust into adventure after Wim discovers and activates the buried starship Onyx Cinder,[14] aboard which Fern installs herself as captain after meeting its droid crewmember SM-33.[27] (Approximate date)[15]
- On SM-33's advice, the children venture to the dangerous shadowport of Borgo Prime, where they are captured by Brutus's pirates, discover the nature of their homeworld as a lost planet, and meet the human Jod Na Nawood, who claims himself to be a Jedi.[27] (Approximate date)[15]
