Plot
The episode begins in No Place with the aftermath of the events of "There's No ARRGH in "Team"" with Sonic disappearing and Dread claiming the blue Prism Shard. After Dread came back to his crew, he found Rusty Rose all tied up. Though Rusty was tied up, she warned Dread’s crew that the Chaos Council will come back for them but they laughed. As they set sail, they sang a song about Dread.
Sonic arrived in No Place and went looking for Dread. As the Chaos Council arrived, they sent Dr. Deep and Dr. Done-It to retrieve the blue Shard, with another ship named the Yolkomotive. Deep decided that, in order to to find the Shard, they need to find Rusty. As the pirates hijacked the ship, called the Kraken, they were ambushed by Deep and Done-it with a squad of Eggforcers. After they stole the Shard, they damaged the Kraken and left Rusty thinking they failed them too many times, leaving her to glitch out and doubt her loyalties.
Deep and Done-it then contacted the rest of the council saying that they have the Shard, but lost communication due to Nine tampering with the system. Sonic then found the pirates and told them that they need to get the Shard back, but the ship was damaged. However, Rusty said that she can repair it. Sonic was shocked to see that Rusty switched sides, but she told them that the Council deserted them, with her red eye becoming a pink one upon her switching sides. After Black Rose cut her free, Rusty was able to repair the Kraken. Sonic and Batten commented that Rusty and Black were a lot alike, even though they declined it.
Deep and Done-It were trying to figure out what the problem until they were attacked by the Kraken. After seeing Rusty, they sent some Eggforcers and Rusty competed with Black Rose to see who can take down the most Eggforcers. Meanwhile, the two doctors argued over who’s the better pilot and Done-it told Deep to go down to the engine room and fix the communication motherboard. Done-It decided to shake the pirates loose by going underwater. As Dread went underwater, Sonic was able to bring the rest of the crew inside, except for Rusty. As they were looking for the Yolkomotive, they discovered that they were in the same area where Sonic discovered the underwater the Loop-de-Loop in "It Takes One to No Place". Unaware that they were underwater, Deep turned off the ship, but turned it back on again. Rusty then discovered the Yolkomotive was behind them and planned to attack them. As Deep was surprised to see that they were underwater, the Kraken showed up.
Back up to the surface, Dread crashed the Yolkomotive. The two groups fought for the Shard. Dread fought against Deep but was bested by him. Dread told Sonic to go after the Shard so that he can manipulate his crew to turn against him as he told Batten and the rest of them that Sonic had abandoned him. Sonic fought Deep and bested him and Done-It fired lasers with his cane. However, Deep for back up and attacked Sonic but he was able to trick Done-it into firing a laser at Deep and took the Shard. Done-It tried to fire at Sonic, but he ended up damaging the Yolkomotive’s engine.
Coming back to the Kraken, Sonic found Dread’s crew turning against him. Dread gave Sonic the choice of either the Shard or his life.
Regional differences
