The Crabmeat is a character that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. It is a crab-based robot model that is found on Sonic and Tails' home island.
Appearance
The Crabmeats are football-sized robots based on real-life crabs. They have a round red carapace with a gray abdomen, four sharp red legs with gray forelegs, and a pair of thick red and round claws. They also have a pair of eyestalks with large black eyes.

Welcome to Robotropolis
On Sonic and Tails' home island, a local Crabmeat was used by Sonic to snap Old Man Owl out of his shock after he nearly crashed in his plane by having it pinch him. Once finished, it scurried away.
Trivia
- The Crabmeat is the only Badnik-based robot in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie which did not appear in the Land of Darkness. Given that it also seems to exist harmlessly in the Land of the Sky, it is questionable whether it is made by Dr. Robotnik or not.
