Bombbearer

The Bombbearer[1] (キャリー[2] Kyarī?, lit. "Carry"), also known as "Bombbearer c",[3][4] is an enemy in Knuckles' Chaotix. It is a mass-produced, scarab-based Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman.

Appearance

The Bombbearers look like magenta dung beetles with four legs. They have round bodies with spherical joints on both ends of their legs, and have both green claws for feet and a pair of wings on their backs (the latter of which connect to the Bombbearers' back via round joints). They also have round heads with two small yellow eyes each.

Overview

TT act2 07

The Bombbearer appears exclusively in Techno Tower where they carry around gray containers. While the containers they carry might look like weapons, these robots never try to drop their cargo on the playable characters.

In gameplay, Bombbearers bob through the air in wavy patterns. Should the player take them out, they will drop their container, which will open to reveal a pair of bombs that inflict damage upon impact.

Powers and abilities

With their wings, the Bombbearers are capable of flight.

Weapons

Each Bombbearer carries around a spherical container with small indecipherable markings on them that contains bombs.

The IceBomba is a variant of the Bombbearer. Although similar in design, the IceBombas wield containers that can freeze those they touch or create ice pillars on the ground. They only appear in Sonic Mania.
